Double bass pedals that can be converted to leftie?

I haven't seen any pedals cheaper than the Pearl Demon Drive that can be converted from rightie to leftie. Cobra 200 single chain should still work fine. Double chain pedals just tend to feel a little sturdier and heavier, they aren't necessarily better. You could also just try playing on a right handed double and clamping your hihat stand to your kick or moving it further away if you'd rather have the Speed Cobra 310.

Upgrading double kick pedals

DW 9000s, Pearl Demon Drives, and Yamaha FP 9s are out of your price range unless you're lucky enough to find them used. IC/SC 910s are in roughly the same "tier" as these but are closer to your budget, assuming this stuff is comparably priced in Australia; these have more adjustments than the 310s and include the Cobra Coil (available as a separate upgrade for the 310s).

I’ve had Pearl Demon Drives since I was 12 (24 now) and recently was persuaded by my guitarist to give Axis a try. I’ve heard people rave about them, so I recently bought the Longboard A2 set from someone of Facebook marketplace. I can only describe them as too easy to play. I don’t feel enough resistance and the speed I’m going for is never maintainable.

What’s The Best Double Bass Pedal?

I always thought longboards were meant more for speed/metal playing but it turns out it's also great for people like me with larger feet. The Pearl Demon pedal is convertible from regular to longboard, the Tama Dynasync only comes in a longboard IIRC, and DW's 9000 comes in both regular and "XF" models which are 1" longer. Also I believe the Yamaha FP9 has a medium-sized footboard.

Problems with bass pedal

When I came back to drumming, I immediately noticed how my right foot wasn’t what it used to be. I played on an old Yamaha single chain pedal in the beginning. I bought an axis when direct drive was super new, and I wanted to like it so much, but…meh. Since then, I got a DW9000, then a Pearl demon something, which didn’t work.
