 That just basically provides a lot of damping but also power transmission so you get really, really good edge contact straight away and comfort whilst skiing. They've got a 5 point sidecut throughout the ski so as you travel down the length the sidecut will slightly change which means as you're moving through the turn you get constant grip through the ski and through the edge which means you're not slipping out on any ice or any bumps or anything like that except for really nice cruisy skis. You've also got tip and tail rocker on the ski just making it slightly easier and pivoting to the turn. You try these out early in the year and really really enjoy them, the whole range is really good and what you'd expect from Dynastar, a good solid ski

This comes with a look binding so a good reassuring binding to go with it. In terms of sizes, this is 177, I'm around 5'9 and I'd ski this kind of size

 You can up size or down size accordingly but again as I repeat with all my reviews I'll tell you to give us a call, speak to one of our ski experts, we've all skied on the product so we'll give you advice as to which size to go and exactly which product is going to suit your ski given it's the best.

 The X84 is the one I've got in front of me today. It's got their new PowerDrive technology in the tip area, you can see it in this orange area on the ski here.
