We have a newborn. Wife’s milk just began to engorge breasts today, 48 hours in. But nipples are badly scabbed. Baby now eating formula due to pain but how can we self/manually express milk to relieve her breasts?  She’s very uncomfortable. Can’t seem to get any out. Really need advice. Sorry for the awkward post, very short on sleep.

I’ve been to the pediatrician twice and absolutely nothing is working for this monster of a diaper rash. I’m at the end of my rope and almost want to cry every time I change my baby which is every single hour. She was born on August 3rd and she was starting to get red before we even left the hospital and they assured us that this was normal and to put and zinc oxide cream on her in between changes and to use water and a soft cloth for wiping. So that’s what I did and it progressively got worse and worse. I’ve tried every cream on Amazon, yeast cream, Vaseline, breast milk, Auquafer. We have done diaper free time every day. I change her every hour. The pediatrician said it was a standard diaper rash the first time and was not concerned. I’ve called the nurses line and done everything they told me to do. It’s gotten progressively worse so we went back to the pediatrician and showed her all the raw spots on her butt and she told me to keep doing what I’m doing which obviously isn’t working. I feel like I’m not being taken seriously. A newborn baby shouldn’t be this miserable for so long. Is there something I’m missing here because I feel horrible for her and it’s only getting worse?

Terrible diaper rash :(

I love organic/natural products just as much as the next person but I feel like the essential oils in this may be a bit too strong for my little love. Amazing scent, easy to spread, but the eucalyptus may be a bit too much for her skin.

Not sure just yet...

I had a milk bleb a month ago and I was able to open it while showering with hot water. Omg, so painful! After opening it, the pain was still there but I felt like it was slowly getting better. 

However, recently the pain is back but the bleb is not there anymore! I do see red and soreness, and some loose skin. 

I’ve only read about unclogging it, I haven’t been able to find any after care instructions. 

Has anybody experience this?  How do you treat it once you unclog it? And how you prevent it from forming again? 

I hope I made some sense, English is not my first language!

Milk bleb

Smells great but I’m afraid my kid is allergic to it. Reaction after first application. Is there a money back guarantee for this type of thing?

I bought Desitin but it’s not sticking to the little lesions around/on my baby’s bum, sticks to everything else perfectly though. Poor guy’s bum is not too bad but there’s 2 really red bits that sometimes bleed when I dab it with a water wipe. They’re pretty much on his anus. I’m sure it’s painful when poop touches it. Any ideas? I want to stay away from powdery stuff because it can be inhaled. Getting mixed info about Vaseline. We can’t get an appointment with the pediatrician for another 2 weeks and he’s had this for about 2 weeks already. Yes I’m ensuring it’s completely dry (he loves the hairdryer sound). Thanks everyone!

I was and still use Huggies, only at night but just wanna share the Kirkland (Costco) diapers that I use during the day are great, affordable and clean. It’s plant based and hypoallergenic. No leaks so far! Just wanted to share.
