Here's a fat overdriven fuzz with the level increased to give those tubes some extra sizzle tone and back to normal. Now the fuzz is cranked, but the shift increased, which gives you that tighter fuzz tone more reminiscent of a distortion

LED is bright!

 When you crank it up all the way, this thing is loud. It's going to really hit your amp hard. But at the same time, on the flip side, the cool thing about this is that you can dial in a really great, thick fuzz tone at quieter levels with your amp, too. Most of the sound demo I did here was relatively quiet, which you might call bedroom levels

A muff circuit that cleans up like a fuzz face!

 I'll dial around on it and show you what I'm talking about. I'm playing a PRS-513 through a Fender Princeton Reverb amp, and we'll listen to that with the hoof bypassed. And here it is engaged. With the level set slightly above unity gain and the fuzz slightly above halfway, I'll dial around on the tone and the shift knobs

 Start with it kind of low. So like I was saying, all the controls are really interactive, but no matter where you set them, you still get that nice punch and that nice clarity. So there you have it, the hoof from EarthQuaker Devices, a really super useful fuzz. Between the tone and the shift control, you can really get it to complement any amp or guitar combination that you've got, whether you're using single coils, you know, a smaller amp, a bigger amp, a brighter amp, a darker amp

 All right, now I'm going to put tone and shift a little closer to center. And we'll check out fuzz here. Start with it kind of low. So like I was saying, all the controls are really interactive, but no matter where you set them, you still get that nice punch and that nice clarity
