 However, the shoe compartment is too small for running shoes. For reference, my shoe size is average at a size 7, so this was very disappointing. I guess I could use it for dirty workout clothes and flip flops or heels (I switch my shoes on the Metro), but it means I'd still need to carry another separate bag for the gym. Other than that, the bag is basic and would hold some work stuff, but not a lot given its size

 It is just not the most sturdy bag ever. It says that it is for a laptop and while it will hold it I would for sure not carry it with only one strap over one shoulder as I am not certain it is sturdy enough to do this without ripping. Honestly, I have a 15' laptop so I won't use it for my laptop again as I don't trust the strength but if you have a very small laptop it may work. The quality of construction on this one is a tad bit lacking to categorize it as a laptop backpack, but if you are just headed out for a hike, or the zoo or an excursion and just need a couple things, it will be perfect
