Front Load Perfect Steam Washer with LuxCare Plus Wash

 In most scenarios, at least that's the way it's supposed to be plumbed, a lot of times you'll have indicators like the top of the valve will actually have red and blue. Doesn't necessarily mean that that is hot and cold. If you really have your doubts, you can always run the hot water into a bucket, just verify that that is the hot side, but I know in my case that this is hot, that's cold. We're going to go ahead and connect our hose to the hot one first

 This line's actually going to my dryer. This is going to be where I'm going to connect my cold, going to my washer, tighten it down as tight as we can by hand. We do a quarter turn and then we're going to connect the other end of it on the back of the unit here where the blue connection is. Blue for cold, red for hot

 One thing about the drain hose, we want to ensure that the washer, this washer actually serves a purpose. It keeps this line from being shoved too far down that standpipe so that we don't have any siphoning issues. We want to keep that right there and then we're going to put our zip tie on it to hold it in place to make certain it doesn't blow out. The last thing I'm going to do is I'm going to run this thing through for a few minutes, verify that I don't have any leaks, that the unit's going to be safe to leave with the consumer

 We're doing the cold, so we're shooting for the blue, tight as I can by hand and then a quarter turn, just a little bit more than a quarter turn on that one. I didn't tighten it very much by hand. Now, we're going to turn our water valve on, turn our water supply on, see if we have any leaks. Now, since I did connect this to the dryer as well, I want to check that connection as well, verify we don't have any leaks from anything

Electrolux Front Load Washer

 The Electrolux unit is larger in size (cu ft) and the normal wash cycle takes about half the time as the replaced machine.   I'm very impressed with how clean the clothes after washing.  The clothes are noticeably softer and smell fresher after drying.

I recently replaced an older (15 y/o Bosch Front Loader) washing machine with an Electrolux unit.  It's amazing how far the technology has advanced since I purchased my last washing machine. My '97 model Whirlpool finally hit the dust and I was a tough sell on anything with too many bells and whistles. I want cleaning power and longevity. This machine has made me giddy! While I can't speak for how long it'll last, I can tell you that doing laundry is no longer a dreaded chore. This machine cleans well, quickly and without any squeaks or rattles!

This is my first front load, I've always used a top load. I must say this washer has exceeded my expectations and allowed me to have confidence in my laundry. I use the same soap and process as with my other washers and the end result is 100% different. I absolutely love the feel, smell and efficiency of the washer
