Natural looks are fun sometimes too :)

I usually purchase the milani dark brown pencil which is perfect color for my skin tone (sort of milk chocolate). I wanted to try something else so I purchased the elf brow cream in light brown after reading the reviews that said the dark brown was more black. The light brown was still too dark for my skin so It didn't work for me even after blending out it was still noticeably different from my brow. Other than the fact that elf cant seem to get the colors right, the brow cream glides on very well and is easy to apply, it also has a nice creamy consistency not dry at all

I’m pretty upset and nobody I know in person can relate to me, but I’m positive someone here will get how I’m feeling. 3 months ago I moved to a new location and needed to get my eyebrows waxed. I made good conversation with the woman who would be waxing me and I was very specific on how I wanted them done.  I love thick eyebrows, and my eyebrows were already naturally thick. All they needed was to be cleaned up. That’s it’s. No shaping necessary. And she was completely understanding what I meant, or so I thought. She kept talking about how she loves thick  brows to and how she hates the thin eyebrow look. Great, we’re on the same page. She then proceeds to wax the shit out of my eyebrows, and then leave me with pencil brows with a bulb at the front. It makes me wanna cry, and I know it’s silly because it’s just eyebrows but I’m really upset. It’s been three months and I haven’t touch them because I’m trying to grow them back out but it’s not coming back. I feel super dramatic for getting worked up about this but I’m genuinely sad. I loved having thick dark eyebrows And not having to fill them in anywhere. She ruined the one thing that I love the most about my face (not insecure I just really like eyebrows) 
I know I feel like it’s never going to be the same, it’s been months of all I’m getting are stray hairs here and there. If you’ve gotten this far and thank you for reading my vent post. I know I’ll get over it because it’s just here, but I’m still sad.

 HOWEVER, the Light-Brown color looks more natural for some reason, seriously. Go for the light brown.

I also bought this as a replacement for the eyebrow kit. It is really dark! I have come to put only the tiniest amount on my eyebrow brush. Like barely touching the tip of the brush onto the product and then I blend it out as much as possible. It works this way for me

Pros and cons

It was a tad dry when I opened it, but with one drop of mineral oil this brow pomade is wonderful! I keep a bottle of mineral oil for any cream cosmetic that dries out, one drop and mix and it's good as new! The color is exactly what I was looking for as the Anastasia dip brows are too dark or too light no matter what I do. This is the perfect soft brown (lighter than Anastasia's soft brown but darker than the caramel). I've worn it all day with no real noticeable flaking or fading and I've worn sunglasses and safety glasses today, plus I frequently brush hair out of my eyes and generally brush my eyebrows on accident. I am pretty darn impressed with elf on this one

Amazing Product!

This is the first brow dip I have tried and now I'm wondering why I didn't try it sooner! With a light hand this is very natural looking, matches my own hair great, and has serious staying power. The price is phenomenal, I just applied it with the equally priced elf dual brow took. If this is the only product I have time to apply, it makes a massive impact! So happy with this!
