Need something to camp on just once or for your unexpected guest to crash on for the weekend? Then the EnerPlex Camping Series Queen is for you. It will not give you the comfort and warmth of most of the other mattresses in this review, but it will provide some cushion on a very low budget. We particularly enjoyed it for napping outside on a warm afternoon. This queen-sized mattress comes with a backpack-style storage bag and an electric pump for a fraction of the cost of the foam mattresses. 
While it does have a soft flocking on the top, there is no insulation in the Enerplex, so if you're using it in cold or even cool conditions, it'll feel like you're sleeping on top of an icebox. This is a warm-weather or indoor option only. But, with the price so low, it might be worth it to have one of these lying around, just in case.

Also included: 120v and 12v power supplies/cords, so you can run the pump if you're camping at a place w/o an electric hookup, and a small stuff sack to keep all the pump parts together. The pump and other bits in their sack don't add appreciably to the profile of the folded air mattress in its stuff sack, but having a separate sack for the pump also allows you to tuck the pump in separately if space is at a premium. --It's comfortable: the top surface is flocked, so you and your sleeping back don't slip off

We got this to replace a fifteen-year-old Aero mattress that finally sprang a leak. I think the Aero company made the best air mattresses ever (does anyone know what happened to them?), so I'm holding this Enerplex to a high standard. And it holds up pretty well. I'm halfway through a cross-country road trip with my grown sons, camping for the most part, and this air mattress has done what we've needed, without any hassle

All you need in a car camping mattress

 That means its Heavyyy - The cords that the pump comes with are short. like 3 feet short. I had a portable battery pack with an outlet, solved my problem - deflation even after following instructions. Losing firmness but Height was high enough that even with less firmness, i'm not touching the ground

 I figured that sleeping on it overtime will eventually solve it, it hasnt. This is just the materials nature. The terrain I had to sleep on is sandy, dirt, and some rocks. Tarp and thin tent floor lining is all I used

 But overtime after not being used, i notice the firmness kind of came back. That proves to me that it still needs to be stretched out. I figured that sleeping on it overtime will eventually solve it, it hasnt. This is just the materials nature

3-day camping on sandy/rocky terrain and it Survived!

 This air bed did pretty good on our trip. The nights were pretty cool maybe in the upper 40's/ lower 50's and the air bed did not loose much air if any at all. My daughter was pretty rough on it jumping on it like it was a trampoline but it held up no air lose or punctures. But only time will tell how it will truly hold up

 As for how it felt/slept it was for the most part comfy. Gave enough support for my back which isn't in the greatest shape. Over night it held its' air and shape well. I don't really know how to explain this but how the air bed feels was more stretchy/flexible compared to the many air matresses I've experienced and used

Durable & Easy to Blow Up

Great quality!

  In less than 4 years, we went through 3 mattresses of different brands because we could no longer find Aerobeds in queen size. We tried the Sound Asleep Dream Series because it was reviewed as the most durable bed, but it failed catastrophically in less than a year, developing a rip overnight that was too big to patch. We then tried the Englander Double High, which again was reputed to be super durable because of the unusual materials. The Englander warned that you had to let the mattress stretch for a few days, refilling it each morning

 It eventually developed an enormous hump from one side to the other, and that was the end of that. We gave it to a family to use for their small children on either side of the hump.  Then we tried a memory-foam-topped conventional mattress, the heat and discomfort of which we endured for 2 months before realizing that we were never going to get a good night's sleep again if we kept giving it another chance.  So then I did a long, long, long search, and decided to take a chance on this Ener-Plex Never Leak

you can sleep on it every night without reinflation--good substitute for the classic Aerobed
