If you want to print on glossy paper you will need a printer with dye based black ink like the Epson Ecotank ET-8500.

I just bought an Epson ET-2760 Ink Tank Printer from Costco. I print on Ink-jet Glossy label paper from [onlinelabels.com](https://onlinelabels.com). Designed specifically for ink-jet and I have had a lot of success on it with my old printers. But this printer's black ink will not stick to glossy paper, so it uses blue ink whenever you select glossy paper, and this ink sticks much better.  But it's F-ing BLUE and that is not acceptable to me and I believe this product should have bever hit the market, it's pretty much fraud. Blue is not the new black.

 SO WRONG!! This thing scans slower than the HP I bought in 1990. I was able to search for my previous purchase, select the printer I bought, scroll through to the reviews and browse through several AND type this review before it even completed 1 scanned page. For the exorbitant cost of this printer, think I'll go back to print cartridges. Not worth it

Not bad but....

I am a graphic designer and also run a small business producing custom planners, so high quality is super important. I  bought an epson ecotank ET-2850 in October but was extremely disappointed in the quality. I'm after something with a super high dpi (I believe) so I can get crisp lines in my planners.
