The ink lasts forever. I've had mine for two years using it to run my business and do school work and still haven't had to refill it. Never had a single problem or error message. Great machine

TLDR:  I’m looking for a great printer to suit the needs for a very small business and family. 


I run an online sales business from home.  I have a fabulous thermal printer for shipping labels. However, I’m looking to get a buy it for life all in one printer as well.  

I live in the desert and don’t print very often.  I can go weeks without using the main printer but when I need it, I need it to work. I used to have an inkjet and the cartridges were constantly drying out between uses.  I did enjoy the quality of photo printing though. 

Currently I have a Samsung color laser all in one printer.  I hate this printer.  If the yellow toner is out, it won’t let me print black and white.  Lately it’s been telling me some canister needs to be replaced but I can type in some numbers and it resets and suddenly works again.  The color printing quality is garbage and the programming on it makes me furious.   I never would have bought this printer had I known how much it tries to force repairs and toner purchases. 

I’m so frustrated with the Samsung printer I’m ready to buy a new one.  I would love something with the photo printing quality of an inkjet but ink that lasts like a laser.  I like the convenience of having the built in sheet fed scanner/copier but if the printer has wifi I can deal without it.  I would like if the printer could print on both sides without me interrupting it.   I want a printer that doesn’t “pretend” it can’t work unless it’s actually broken.   I’m willing to spend money to not have to purchase another printer again any time soon.

Best printer for making stickers? Both glossy and matte.

I need a printer that will serve as a long-term workhorse. Ideally something that satisfies the following:

* Can print up-to 100 sheets daily for more than a year (at least)
* Can scan and send faxes
* Is fairly simple and easy-to-use (few "bells and whistles")
* Costs &lt;$700
* Ink lasts for a while or is replaced/refilled at a fairly cheap price

I do not need a printer that prints in color, as none of the documents I am printing require color.

If there's anything else I should be considering, please let me know/ask in the comments.

I'm working with an older individual in her late 70's and she was looking into a new printer to replace her old HP that no longer works. This would mainly be used to print a couple photos a week and sometimes scan photos as well.

The models she is currently looking at:

\-HP 7855

Requirements:

\-Screen in front for ease of use

\-Doesn't want to access the back of the printer often

\-She wants it to be directly connected for reliability. Wifi is an option as long as it's reliable but she's telling me that her internet drops time to time for some reason

\-It doesn't have to be HP

\-It MUST have a scanner

\-Compatible with Windows 10

\-Inkjet as she's printing photos

She has experience with connecting to an app on her phone for her printing needs. To have options to print from her phone would make things easier for her as she has been transferring photos to her computer before printing.
