Epson EpiqVision Ultra LS500

The Epson LS500 has razor sharp corner focus that is manually adjusted vs the Optoma P2 which is auto adjusted and is extremely difficult to get both of the upper corners focused at the same time. As soon as one is focused on the Optoma, the other side goes out of focus. The Epson has superior screen uniformity in large part due to the ability to have focused corners with out sacrificing center focus.

Also if you did a screen, you could get an ALR which will reject light from directions other than the throw of your projector, which helps in a mixed media/mixed use room. The Epson LS500 UST comes with one, and seems to also be pretty responsive at 4k60. It's towards the top of my list for that reason, you may want to check it out.

Bottom line, I wouldn’t be too concerned. I’ve had VAVA (borrowed) Optoma P2 (bought and returned) and now the Epson LS500 (bought and kept) all in my home at one point or another these past few months.

I have the ls500 with screen package. It does well for my use.
