 Now the side is the power and source selection button Flipping it over there are some adjustable feet So if you're gonna put this on a shelf You can adjust that as well right there and then we do have some mounting points on the bottom So if you want a ceiling mount that it is compatible with that But specs wise this is not a native 4k projector This is an upscaling projector once again. So no native for you guys not yet But at this price point it makes sense, but unlike Epson's previous projectors where it upscaled only to about 4 million pixels this one will actually Pixel map full 4k resolution at 8.2 9 million pixels So you will get true 4k resolution with this year's models Contrast ratio is 1 million two hundred thousand to one with dynamic contrast enhancement and There's also dynamic tone mapping as well on a scene-by-scene basis So that's gonna be pretty cool as well to check that out. Epson 5050Ub for ~$2000?

  The bottom line for me is that Epson got an imcomparable 4K picture up there on that screen for less than Five Thousand smackeroos...and even though I hesitated at that Four Thousand dollar price tag I'm now really really glad I bought it!

Looking to upgrade from my Panasonic PTAE8000.  
It's been great, just want to go to 4K...  


Current setup: Celling mount, 3.6 metres away from the screen. Screen is 120"

Looking to spend less than $5000 AUD ($3700 US)  
Mostly home Threatre (I have Atmos sound setup)  


Looking at  the Epson tw9400 / 6050ub or Optoma UHZ50.

I'm not able to check these out so hopefully looking for real-life experience.

One thing I've been told, is LCD will give better contrast / blacks and less chance of  rainbow artifacts over DLP. Probably why I'm happy with the colour / contrast on my Panasonic.

UPgarde from 1080P projector

This is a very bright projector that works perfectly in my mostly light controlled mini home theater. The LS11000 is replacing a Be Q HT3550 that, while it looked great and had decent black levels, was plagued with constant HDMI handshake issues, WCG filter getting jammed and other assorted fun. So far, no issues like this with the Epson and it looks sharper and much brighter. The whole projector is an absolute beast although the more than doubled weight actually seems to help it from jiggling when the kids are upstairs overhead apparently

There aren't many reviews around for the LS110000, so I'm curious, just from the perspective of someone who has a large room with beige walls, but who can control the light somewhat well during the day (but whose girlfriend may not want to ... ), which of these is the best option?

From a pure light controlled room (with beige walls) perspective, which should have the best picture (I'm especially interested in HDR color and blacks).

Is there another sub-$4,000 option I'm missing (and yes, the LSP9T is down below $4k some spots now)? Oh, and I'm fairly RBE sensitive, but can get over it if the picture quality is superior.

Currently I am looking at the Benq x3000i. But I wondered if there is a better option for someone who would be using it more for home theatre.
