All right, guys, that's going to be my quick review of the Epson LS 12000.

I'm buying that Epson. He loved it. It looked beautiful

You can obviously have better input lag with a good TV monitor, even better with a good PC monitor, but unless you play competitive FPS games, 19ms is absolutely acceptable. Gaming with the LS12000 has been great so far. The biggest downside is if you have a room with ambient light and you want to game on a sunny afternoon with direct strong sunlight leaking into the room (unless you have blackout curtains this will be an issue). The image will be washed out compared to a TV.

I'm in the processing of building out my home theatre and I've recently come across the Epsom Pro Cinema LS12000. This seems to be the best choice and bang for your buck in the $5K range.

Given that I do not have any constraints, I can control ambient light if I want, I do not mind bearing the initial setup cost for a standard projector+screen or paying extra for a UST screen. My budget can accommodate a good projector and screen combo. For example EPSON LS12000 with 120" ALR screen or Hisense L9G 120. I have seen recommendations based on ambient lighting conditions or room size, however, I do not have any of these limitations.

Most PJs end up around 1600 lumens when calibrated for Cinema. Even reviews of the LS12000 put the calibrated brightness around 1600 lumens. Above that number color and contrast will take a hit.
