A3 AIO colour printer with A3 Scanner? with EcoTank?

The Epson Workforce WF-7830DTWF has a RADF and can automagically turn the paper around to scan the other side while the HP Officejet Pro 7740 has a DADF with a second scan bar and can scan both sides in a single pass, but this ADF only supports A4 scanning and not A3.

Hi all, looking at getting a new print/copy/scanner. There's two main functions I want over the usual multifunction people might have at home:  


1. I want to be able to print A3
2. I want to be able to scan multi-page documents **double sided** through a document feeder.

Any good recommendations? The models I've looked at so far are the Brother MFC-J6730DW, the Epson workforce WF-7830 and the HP OfficeJet Pro 7740  


The Brother machine appears not to do double sided scanning through the document feeder. The Epson does, but I found people online saying Epson printers will break in small ways and then they'll just tell you to buy a new one because repairs are so impractical. For the HP, it costs more than the other two yet seems to have poorer reviews, and it isn't obvious that it scans double sided like I would want.  


any advice?? is there a brand I've overlooked (I'm sure there is..)? am I just wrong to be worried about epson? I really don't want to go too high a budget here since this is just for my home office.

I'm an artist who is trying to scan some of my drawings onto my computer to potentially start selling prints. However, I cannot find a scanner or printer that will fit the paper I draw on that is 11x14. I'm working with an older individual in her late 70's and she was looking into a new printer to replace her old HP that no longer works. This would mainly be used to print a couple photos a week and sometimes scan photos as well.

The models she is currently looking at:

\-HP 7855

Requirements:

\-Screen in front for ease of use

\-Doesn't want to access the back of the printer often

\-She wants it to be directly connected for reliability. Wifi is an option as long as it's reliable but she's telling me that her internet drops time to time for some reason

\-It doesn't have to be HP

\-It MUST have a scanner

\-Compatible with Windows 10

\-Inkjet as she's printing photos

She has experience with connecting to an app on her phone for her printing needs. To have options to print from her phone would make things easier for her as she has been transferring photos to her computer before printing.

She dislikes printers that force you to buy all color ink cartridges at once. If there are any ink-filling cartridge solutions that you know of, she may be interested in that as well!
