 I recommend you try all of them though to find the best that fit for you. Once your chosen tips are fitted, this is where it can get tricky and for some, uncomfortable. The ER2s have a long sound tube, which is designed to go deep into your ear. With the foam tips, I pinch them so they go as flat as possible, then gently ease them into my ear and follow my ear canal as deep as they'll go

 It comes across extremely effortless, allowing you to hear what I can imagine to be as close to what was made in the studio as possible. Both models provide bass when there's meant to be and just the right amount of it. It manages to go very low without being pushed up. The XR version does, however, give a slight boost to the low end, just enough for those that prefer a warmer sound with more bass presence

 The ER2s have a long sound tube, which is designed to go deep into your ear. With the foam tips, I pinch them so they go as flat as possible, then gently ease them into my ear and follow my ear canal as deep as they'll go. You'd be surprised how far they can go. When the foam expands, it creates a perfect seal and along with the built-in isolation of the earphones, the ER2 provides the best isolation I've experienced from a universal earphone

 Fear not, you can wear these earphones without jamming them into your ears. Just be aware that you won't be getting as much isolation and therefore the full potential of the ER2. The ER2 earphones have a fairly low impedance of 15 ohms and a sensitivity of 96 decibels, making them easy enough to drive from a laptop or smartphone. In my experience, the ER2 sounded great out of my laptop, but when used with a dedicated portable audio player or headphone amplifier, the extra power and quality provided better soundstage and dynamic range overall

The highs are where the ER2SE shines. Perfect clarity. It does lose out on a big of a "big room" large soundstage feel that my Arias give me (ie, it sounds like the music is being played from inside your cranium), but setting Dolby Atmos to Movie mode on Android compensates for that. Atmos simulates pinna and Movie mode simulates listening from inside a large room

Finally got Etymōtics after all the hype. Holy shit.

I cannot speak to the sound quality or anything else because I was so distracted by the fit of these earbud. They insert into your ears, slightly similar to earplugs. I could never get the right angle, and they never settled. I had not realized that they would be inserted quite so deeply - and cannot imagine wearing them ALL DAY

I was surprised that the sound is more or less comparable to the standard headphones that came with my smartphone. With music however the defining clarity of instruments is better. I do wish We Etymotic would make Phones compatible for cochlear implant users.

I've always been more into headphones because earbuds and such don't generally go deep enough into my ears.  I only realized this after trying WF-XM4s and thinking they were dog poo.  Turned out the noise cancelling didn't work at all and they just didn't sound ok unless I forced them about and extra 4mm into me ear.

Anyways, curiosity bit me and I just got my first set of IEMs, the Blon BL-03.  I put the deepest tip they came with right away and was fully prepared for disappointment.  I'm pretty freaking blown away.  How something this cheap sounds this good is strange to me.  Well these tips are almost deep enough, could still use more, but they're so wide they hurt after a while.

I ordered a few sets of spin fit tips to try in the next couple of days, but I know this will probably alter the sound a bit as well.

So it brings me to the question: Do any non-custom IEMs tend to fit deeper into the ear canal?  I'd love to try something that actually fits how it was designed and fits my ear well.

Hi, I was looking for a pair of gaming headphones for pc (wired) under 100 euros comfortable for long gaming sessions. I already have an external microphone so I am not interested in the quality of the microphone, I am only interested in the audio quality. Looking on amazon I found some interesting headphones. Can you tell me which is the best in terms of (comfort/audio quality/ longevity)? 

If anyone has other suggestions they are welcome(headphones only on amazon).

Gaming headsets under 100 euros

The best passive noise isolation in the industry with sound quality that trumps sets double and triple their sticker price. Stock sound signature can come off as clinical and unexciting if you're a basshead, but they take well to EQ if that's your thing, and personally found them surprisingly comfortable after an initial few days of getting used to the fit, though your mileage may vary. Cable is not the best, as it's a bit kinky and it's got pretty bad microphonics, plus the prices Etymotic charge to replace it I equate to highway robbery. Quite a bit less sensitive than my other IEMs which makes it hard to run off my phone at a volume I like, so it's been relegated to use at the desk

I'll be using the IEMs at school and at home, so noise isolation would be good.   
I'm looking for a neutral sounding signature , as I  listen to a wide range of music genres (Jazz Rap, Hip Hop,  Jazz, Neo-Soul, R&amp;B, Soul, Classical Music and Soundtracks)  
I want the IEMs to have a minimal design that doesn't attract too much attention and if possible, a detachable cable. Lastly, the IEMs cable need to be worn straight down rather than over the ear and then down, this is essential to me.
