 We have a similar situation, just a big empty space, but it's for gear that you want to keep at the top of the back. So quick access gear as well for smaller items so inside here i've just got some muesli bars, some more snacks. I'Ve also got my sunglass case, and then i've just got an olight torch inside. We'Ve also got a little key leash here for you to attach your keys to so it's just a good way to secure keys, especially in a big bag

 This laptop sleeve can fit up to a 17-inch laptop and inside here. I'Ve just got my 13-inch macbook pro retina inside the rush faster laptop sleeve, but this is a crossover backpack and it's a bag particularly angled towards hiking and the outdoors. So this laptop sleeve is also a perfect place to store a hydration bladder. So here i have my water bladder

 Padding on that shoulder strap. You also notice on the shoulder strap. We have a sternum strap here. It'S a typical duraflex sternum strap

 Here we have a little cut out so that debris and any moisture can just simply feed through that little port, also on both sides of the bag. We have these sets of compression straps. So if you're carrying less, you can actually cinch down the bag, to bring the load closer to your back and giving you a better center of gravity. But you can also use these compression straps to help secure down gear

 Thick well padded have some decent structure to them, so they do a great job at you know giving you a nice comfortable carry, however, there's no mesh or anything like that, so you can get a little bit sweaty uh, carrying this over longer periods of time and Then the strap here sternum strap, can be adjusted just along a few points here so other than those four and uh. These can be a little tricky to switch on and off here, which is good because you don't want them falling out, but this clip really bites into it. So it can be a little tricky to get it out and we found a good way to get these out, because if you pull them straight back out, this can kind of catch. So if you just flip it upside down and pull it out there, it slides right out so just slide it in upside down, flip it over and then you're back in business

 Open it up, that's where the key leash is now located on the v1 it's on the inside, so this is just a little faster access to it. You don't have to open up the whole bag, bright, red, easy to see, love that, and then we just have some air pods in here again just for quick access when you're hopping on the bus - and you just want to throw some music in nice to leave Those in front so opening up the main compartment here, big zipper, goes all the way around just kind of flap, this open uh.  A little bit so it's harder for somebody to quick, run up and rip your bag open and try to grab something out of it. Uh flipping it over here the harness system is super solid, uh, extremely comfortable. You can see we got a really stiff frame sheet here again makes this bag great for hiking a nice curve to the back panel here. So it kind of follows

 You're definitely going to be able to fit more into a more square-shaped backpack, although you can fit a surprising amount in this and it feels really good to carry. To Wrap this up with some pros and cons - there is a lot of well thought out, ergonomic, comfortable design going on with the pack.. There's some great thinking around the user experience with the strap keepers, the compression straps, and the overall curved and ergonomic shape of the pack

 The Only thing that we will say is that it just ended up picking up some dust and that's about it. Again From a travel perspective, it's more designed for a trail than it's designed for one bag travel, so just keep this in mind. You're definitely going to be able to fit more into a more square-shaped backpack, although you can fit a surprising amount in this and it feels really good to carry. To Wrap this up with some pros and cons - there is a lot of well thought out, ergonomic, comfortable design going on with the pack

Plus, there are two loops at the bottom of the pack that acts as built-in zipper locks. You can slip the pulls through them while you’re on the go, making it much harder for the wrong hands to get inside your bag when you’re not looking. 

The bag’s shoulder straps are densely padded with Zote EV50 foam that not only offers structure but comfortable support, too. However, they’re not the most breathable straps we’ve ever tested, as they don’t feature any mesh lining to better combat sweat on longer wears and when you’re out in the heat. They do have ports to slip a water bladder hose through if you’ve got one in the main compartment and are looking to get that hands-free hydration in a clean, streamlined fashion. 

If you’re partial to more subdued colorways, you may be delighted to know that you can pick up this pack in classic Black at the time of this review. However, if you were hoping to add a splash of color to your carry, you may be disappointed that this is the only colorway available at this time. That’s not to say there absolutely won’t be more options in the future, so stay posted! EVERGOODS has had different colorway runs of red, grey, and khaki colorways in the past with some of their bags.

There are even compression straps—two on each side—that you can tighten to slim down this bag’s profile even further when you’re carrying a smaller amount of gear. We appreciate that these straps don’t stretch across any compartments, so they don’t inhibit or slow down our access inside. We’re also fans of its elastic keeper system that allows us to fold any excess strap into a compact size and then secure, so it’s not dangling all over the place.
