If you're set on getting the most cutting-edge performance for your money, the best cheap gaming mouse for enthusiasts is the EVGA X12. While its regular price makes it more of a mid-range option, it's very frequently on sale and is a great deal whenever it falls under the $30 mark. Its overall shape is symmetrical, with a pair of side buttons on the left and right sides, meaning it's a great choice whether you're right or left-handed. Overall, its build quality is good, but there's some flexibility in the sides of the plastic body. There's also a small amount of wobble in the left- and right-click buttons, and there's a rattling sound from the mouse wheel if you shake the mouse. However, these issues don't affect performance while gaming.

In terms of raw performance, it has extremely low click latency and a very consistent and accurate sensor. This mouse is also one of the few options currently available that offers polling rates higher than the standard 1000Hz, which provide smoother-feeling cursor movements and slightly better click latency.  Yeah the cord on this thing is super duper nice it's even got the branding on it and that little band that goes around it to hold it in place is feels really premium I like that. Mouse itself you know nothing spectacular the feet are nice skates or whatever you want to call them are pretty nice. So again this is the EVGA X12 gaming mouse I was able to pick it up for $14.99 on Amazon the sensor has on it is a Pixar 3389 it's available in black or white of course I got the black one I believe probably the white one's a little more expensive some of the things I've noticed it has sort of a plain Jane kind of you know you don't take this one out and show it off but a plain Jane appearance that's cool not a problem I mean it's for gaming not for looking pretty right it's definitely not as gamer-y as most but it does feel great to use

Scroll Wheel breaks after a week of use

 Again this is going to be my new work mouse and not to be used for gaming whatsoever. I wanted something simple and cheap and by the build of this I can definitely say I got my money's worth. I like the simple design of the mouse as it doesn't really scream gaming mouse. There are no sharp or bold edges and this is what I really like

It is made of black reflective plastic and you can kinda see the spray paint used on the sides as it looks, well, it looks spray painted. This mouse is ambidextrous so right or left handed individuals can use this without issue

 I got it a few days ago and I've been putting it through the ringer. This mouse costs $49.99 I believe. If you're an EVGA Elite member you can get free shipping for a limited time I believe

 So comfort wise you know I give this thing like a 3 out of 10 but performance wise and value wise you know this is like definitely like a 92. It's just great as far as the performance and for the money it's hard to beat. You know $50 for a good sensor with 8kHz polling rate you know it's not super heavy. It's a pretty good deal I believe

 Let's check it out. Alright guys, yep, this mouse right here is a brand new mouse, it just came out the other day. I got it a few days ago and I've been putting it through the ringer. This mouse costs $49

 There's definitely other mice that are ambidextrous that don't have the discomfort level that this mouse has. I definitely think there's parts of the shape that lock you in the aiming and it's all this this section at the back I think is making a big difference. But I just think if you could just modify this right side right here you'd have a really really good mouse. And if you could also somehow make this wireless get rid of some of this RGB get the weight down even more I think you have a real winner on your hands

 And maybe that's something that'll improve over time I don't know. But it feels very different from my previous mouse. It doesn't really work well with a fingertip grip style also because it is rather tall. Still it is too small for me to be used with a palm grip style

 The two main ones are that a mouse is either really feature rich, has very high quality materials and a very high build quality, but is also usually rather heavy. Now the other one is that a mouse is as light as possible, usually a bit plasticky and somewhat compromises on features in order to achieve its low weight. Many people at this point prefer the second approach, especially people who play a lot of first person shooters. Now the X12 kind of falls in between those categories, weighing in at 75 grams, which isn't really competitive with the lightest gaming mice on the market, which sometimes weigh as little as 49 grams, but is still significantly lighter than some of the high end clunky models that weigh as much as 120 grams or more

 Good day and welcome to another video here on German Tech Guys. In this video I want to review the EVGA X12, which is a new gaming mouse by EVGA, a brand that has formerly been known for building crazy expensive motherboards and high quality graphics cards. But in recent years they've stepped more and more into the peripherals market and this is one of their latest products. The X12 got introduced at CES in 2022 as one of six mice that support NVIDIA's Reflex technology

 And for me there wasn't really a natural grip style I'd tend to use with this mouse. I thought I'd be able to continue using my previous grip style but I kind of had to develop a new one and that also while it improves my peak precision I would say. My peak precision and that is actually backed up by statistics. My peak precision has kind of increased with this mouse but the acceleration I would be able to pull off is slower I'd say than with the Harpoon Pro RGB
