 It's a really just solid piece of wood. It's on the heavy side as jazz basses usually go compared to say a precision bass, but it's still really comfortable to play sitting or standing up. And then you got your maple neck, just a really simple put together instrument. So while this bass was amazing out of the box, amazing stock, it was just a really good player

 You can just flip this switch and you're in that tuning. It drops that whole string and it's really easy to do and it's really easy to set up, especially while playing live. It's been super useful and really easy. It allows me to, you know, especially my solo sets, I can just drop this down and then there's no need to tune

One of the guys from GHS was selling some stuff at a swap meet I went to a little while ago and had one of these for sale for $300… 30% of the retail price and it was in great shape. I want to know, what gear did you stupidly part with or turn down?

My current bass is is a Squier classic vibe jazz bass and I’m thinking of upgrading. I’ve been playing for a few years and recently started my apprenticeship. I want to treat myself for working very hard. The two options I have been looking at are Fender Vintera Jazz bass or Sterling Stingray Ray34. My head is saying get the Stingray because I already own a jazz bass, but my heart says get the Fender because I’ve wanted one since I started playing. I don’t want to make the wrong decision and regret it. Any advice?
