Good trebbles for footsteps are a plus with recessed bass. I need those vented aswell to prevent discomfort from pressure in the ear canals. After some digging i found that the fiio fh5/ fh7 seem to have a good soundstage imaging but i can’t find proper gaming reviews.

 It was not perfect, but the best so far. So I thought the more expensive one called fh5 must be even better, well, to me the fh3 sounded the best of all the earbuds I tried. Everyone’s hearing is different so you have to decide what sounds best to you. I Have not received any gift or payment for my review, just my honest opinion of what sounded the best for me but I will probably try a few more brands, just in case

 I tried four different brands so far, some had too much base and some weren’t any better. Then tried one brand called fio fh3. It was not perfect, but the best so far. I’m not an audio expert, in fact I have significant hearing loss from years in the military. So this is just me talking about my experience in trying to find ear buds that sound good to me. After having used regular earbuds for a many years and having a problem understanding the vocals, I thought there must be something else out there. I am torn between getting a Used P1 or a new Moondrop Aria. I hear the P1 has almost no BASS, and is fairly Bright . . . Which goes against my prefered tonality of controlled bass and overall neutral signature with a bit of warmth. How would you describe P1 ? Seeing your other 2 IEMs , I can guess that you are not very treble sensitive and can handle Bright IEMs . . . ?

 the cable quality failed. left connector brass fitting is no good. i was getting microphonics static noises. any movement kills sounds to the left speaker

I got these headphones from a French eBay seller for €149 plus shipping, they have had the ear pads changed from the OEM to velour velvet pads, and I also do not own a decent DAC/amp setup so my first impressions might be very skewed somewhat by my ill-prepared audio setup. I did make sure to read about aftermarket pads before purchasing, but a lot of advice later from friends and I was given the green-light.

These are my first proper pair of Hi-Fi headphones, with my previous audio peripherals being FiiO FH5 in-ear monitors, Tin HiFi T2 in-ear monitors, and the Audio-Technica M50x.

Being my first pair of open-backed headphones, I really enjoy the much wider soundstaging and imaging compared to my previous M50x, and indeed from my FH5 that violate my eardrums to no end.

Thanks to the velvet earpads, they are also a comfortable pair of earphones for hours of usage, with the headband not being particularly noticeable after a while due to the clamping force.

With the HD 580s connected directly to my Sound Blaster Audigy Fx PCIE sound card (yes, it’s a very rudimentary audio setup so bare with me) I find the HD 580s lean towards the neutral side with the low-end being a smidge more prominent and effective than the highs, although I’m open to the sound being a bit altered due to a number of reasons due to my audio setup.

As a listener of bubblegum K-pop and metal & rock genres, I like all parts of the frequency response range but tend to liken the highs and trebles as I listen to a lot of female vocals. These headphones are very enjoyable for the genres I listen to, of course I would definitely like to experience the full brunt of these headphones with a nice DAC/amp setup in the near future.

I’m not really an audiophile perse, but trying these out after using my FiiO FH5 IEMs for so long has given me an appreciation towards a good, high-quality pair of headphones!

Not a bad headphone but for 150€ I would have gone with the DT 880 Edition instead. But if it fits your taste thats great and I hope you get a lot of enjoment out of them, since these an their 600 family siblings can and will last aeons.

Got my first proper pair of high-quality headphones, the Sennheiser HD 580 Precision!

The nozzles on these are very short and I found it impossible to get a sealed fit in my right ear with either tips from the generous included selection or aftermarket ones. Perhaps the great sound signature of these earphones is due to this short nozzle design which fits shallowly in the ear, but the fit was a big enough hinderance for me to return the headphones. It's a shame as I really liked the sound.

Great sound but bad fit

I'm currently looking at the 7hz Timeless and the Fiio FH5 mainly. I'm specifically looking for a warmer sound with a punchy bass to compliment my "weaker" performing headphones in that category: Blessing 2 and 6XX. I don't really like V-shaped headphones after disliking the ZS10 pro's and finding them a tad aggravating with their highs. I plan to use these headphones primarily for electronic music like J-core, breakcore, trance, as well as a lot of metal

 My preferred Spinfit tips fit and stays on but sadly they sound off compared to the balanced tips. I have yet to try others like Spiral Dots but I've read that Symbio tips works well. All in all I'd say stick with the foam tips or spend extra on third party tips.

 It's highs are recessed enough that it's not fatiguing to listen to for long periods of time but not too recessed as to make songs feel lifeless; the FH5s are very lively and very fun to listen to. Bass is enough to satisfy bassheads but is not overly boomy as to bleed into or overwhelm other regions. Mids surprised me the most on these. For a Chifi I'd expect these to be V shaped with the mids being heavily recessed; not so with the FH5

 They are too short and a tad too wide forthe included silicone tips. The installed stock balanced tips fit well enough but once you take them off to try other tips, it's very hard and annoying to put them back on and to have them stay on. There are several times where I thought they are secure only for one to pop off and stay in my ear. Even when I have them secure, the short nozzle makes it difficult keep a good seal

I find it funny that FiiO include a tray of various tips yet none of them fit well except for the foam tips; maybe not so funny as I spent well over $200 for these. Third party tips may fit better however

Amazing but with a big comfort issue.

I say as someone who use ER4SR as my main IEM now and have tried FIIO FH5, Final Audio E5000, Pinnacle P1: I've no experience with Campfire products but I think you are paying more for looks and all with Campfire as the only one I see constantly mentioned is the Andromedas. It's pretty hard to find IEMS better than Etymotic ER and some Moondrops even if you spend thousands.

Looking for sub $300 IEM

 I don’t know, you might disagree with me, but try listening to this song on a regular smartphone or regular DAP with no tuning with the IEMs themselves. These two songs should sound calm almost and comfortable to listen to..

Fantastically well built and thought out design of an IEM for sure... but Treble sounds harsh.
