I know you can’t get rid of pores but I’m wondering is there anyway to make them smaller? I use La Roche Posay products. They keep my acne mostly at bay but I feel like my pores are just so large. Part of it is genetic, but just wondering if there’s anything else I can do at home to help. Thanks!

 This means I could buy a brand new book for another $2! Refills need to be half the price, otherwise I may just retire this book when it fills up and go with another pocket size.

 The initial cost is fair @$11 ,however, the refills are too expensive. Just to refill the book (initially comes With 56 pgs) I have to buy two refills of 32 pgs for just under $9. Filofax A5 Notebook

Compared to Staples ARC system and using with fountain pen...

I have this in black and it is very professional looking, especially compared to the neon and pastel colors that Filofax and other organizer/notebook companies seem to be leaning towards. I also like that the coils are small and not clunky or in the way like many of the other coil or disc-bound notebooks I've seen. The A5 size is convenient for portability and availability of inserts on etsy, Amazon, etc. The best part about this is the flexibility to move pages around

 What I don't like about this: 1) The inserts that Filofax offers are too limited - you have to buy a special hole punch (I chose the Arc one) to be able to add inserts (though it is nice to see that Filofax is finally offering some diary inserts). 2) The Arc paper and tabs only sort of fit - the width is fine, but they are slightly too long on top and bottom because the Filofax is true A5 and the Arc paper is statement/half-letter . 3) I agree with the other reviewers that folding this back (one of the reasons I chose it) is not ideal. It works, but if the notebook is full of paper, the paper does tend to slip out of the coils

Nice to have

 I've seen notebooks jammed with all kinds of stuff, but for me, the Filofax is far more than adequate. I doubt that I will ever approach its limitiations.

Great notebook, one small flaw

 I returned it and got the black and I love it; using it for my bullet journal. Great paper quality, you can move pages around without ripping them out. The dividers and the ruller are helpful.
