 This is definitely heavier than this guy. So and you don't want to be, you know, when you're I'm you know, doing reaching down 500 times an hour or whatever it might be, you know that starts to wear on you. So uh, if you need something heavy duty, get this Fiskars shovel. I don't think it should ever fail

 That not this. This is the Fiskars, but a John Deere shovel was like almost fifty dollars. Looked pretty heavy duty. Decided Now that seems pretty expensive for a shovel

 I've oiled it and it seems like a pretty good shovel head. It is definitely worn, really rounded now, which is nice for some things I guess like gravel, the handle is going to break. it's a little weak. It's not what you'd call heavy duty so, but it is a really good shovel and I like it

 This because this this thing is heavy duty. I could. I pulled really hard on this thing, uprooting that sage brush and this handle didn't even bend. So this thing is solid

Fiskars Shovel Review - Amazing Shovel With A Downside

This shovel is too heavy for me to use. It's a good tool, but it just weighs too much for me to haul around the yard with a bad back.

Heavyweight shovel

Come on, a shovel is a shovel, right?

 After using the shovel for the first time to dig up some dirt in my yard, I noticed that the powder coating was done around the edges of the shovel leaving more blade exposed tot he elements. I wasn't digging into rock, just dirt. If rust gets into the tip of the blade I am thinking that the integrity of the shovel head will be severely compromised and the shovel could fail. I guess that if that happens I will have to use the lifetime warranty or get another shovel

Defect in powder coating process

 It was great for these tasks as it is light weight and the handle is comfortable. I did get a blister, but that always happens to me when using a rake or a shovel. I think this would be a good purchase and would recommend this shovel
