but as a fitness tracker, there's really just not enough here to recommend it over the charge.

Fitbit is so much better than Apple Watch.

I now switch between a Blaze (best model ever) and an Ionic, alternating every 4 days or so. The Apple Watch has heaps of great tech, but my iphone does that anyway.

I've previously used a Fitbit Blaze and have started to look for a replacement primarily for health tracking. My issues with the Fitbit, and most of these trackers in general, is that they are ugly and I hate wearing it while sleeping. As a result I don't wear it most of the time. After doing a bit of research, Oura seems like the best option.

Those of you who owned a Fitbit and Apple Watch, which did you prefer and why

My friend gave me her old Fitbit Blaze (which is just as old as the first Gen Apple Watch) to try out to see if I liked Fitbit and I did. Even at almost 6 years old the battery still lasted a full 5 days. Still pretty crude being a first-Gen smart watch but more manageable than the apple. I like the sleep tracking (which was only JUST added to the apple in the latest model) and the compatibility with iPhone while other smart watches are heavily android focused.

Fitbit recalls nearly 2 million Ionic smartwatches due to burn hazard

Ironically I had the Blaze before this one and when it got wet and died, fitbit customer service gave me 100$ off this one. So now almost 4 years later I get 300$ (much more than I paid for this one) and I can buy a brand new watch. I’m happy with the result. Might be switching to the Apple watch though because none of the new Fitbit models look very appealing.
