 I thought the sleep tracking was pretty neat. Syncing for me was pretty tedious.  Pros -neat first time experience -interesting sleep tracking -long battery life  Overall, I thought the purchase was pretty neat. It was the first time I used a wrist fitness tracker, so the exploration aspect of that gave some entertainment/learning value

 The step counting is also not that accurate. And unless you're just passively walking around a lot, I feel it's not as useful.  If the heart rate tracking and calorie tracking were more accurate, I could see getting more use out of dietary logging. Since I don't trust those first two things, I don't see a point in logging food intake

 The sleep tracking isn't completely accurate, but I think it's good enough and can give some insight into your sleeping habits.  The tracker seems to consume very little power, so it can actually go a few days without needing a charge. It also seems to charge relatively quickly.  Cons -heart rate seems wildly inaccurate -the syncing process is pretty tedious -tracks a lot of metrics I find less useful -my phone is more convenient for getting the time -yet another way tech is tracking me online  I mentioned above that tracking heart rate was my primary goal with this purchase

Once the novelty wore off, I feel like I was left with an overpriced basic watch.

 You might have to sort of add in more information or specific information in the Fitbit app itself, but for the most part now this is a great great advantage over something like the Altar or the auto. Have a habit of doing this for some people. For example, GPS it's not available in this. If you want GPS enabled, you might have to go to another Fitbit device

 This means that this fitness tracker is okay to be used in the shower. You know, if you're worried about missing steps in the shower, you don't need to worry anymore. You can get this thing wet, you can take it for a swim, and you do not need to worry about the fitness tracker having any issues. There is a swim option on here, but it is slightly limited

 essentially you got what Fitbit what? I'm gonna call like the home screen which is the middle at the moment. You can customize that with some information but it has the time on there so if you swipe up you'll be able to see certain apps like you know, access, exercises, the timer, the alarm settings, all that kind of stuff. But then when you scroll down you'll be able to see all your main stay at a glance and that's really nice to do now with your finger. You've also got on the left-hand side a physical button so when you hard press that you're able to see how much battery life you've got left

Fitbit Inspire HR Review: 3 Things I Love and Hate

I got lucky, mine is a Fitbit charge 2 and it is about 5 years old. My boyfriend got Fitbit Charge 3 and it lasted him a year... not sure if they are making them worse or I'm just lucky. Don't want a new one until this one dies.

I have the Versa 1 for 2 years now and still going strong. Poor thing has taken a beating too. No screen protector either. I'm honestly surprised it hasn't cracked with how much I hit it on stuff.

Versa 2 - 18 months
Versa 3 - just got it 2 months ago, all is well.

I got the Blaze in 2016. That kept going without any problems until I upgraded to a Versa 2 in January 2021. So about 5 years on the Blaze, 5 months so far on the Versa 2.

After six years, I’m on my fourth. I had the original Charge HR just shortly after it was released. It was going strong for almost two years, but in a hike through a rainforest, it gave up. 

Then I had a Charge 2 which lasted almost 12 months maybe. I walked into a door jam and it won. I had a second Charge 2, which lasted for about 18 months until the battery died. 

I’m now one year in on a charge 4.

Just got a Sense on Prime Day because my Versa wasn't holding a charge very long anymore after 3 years but other than that it still worked perfectly. My old Alta and Charge still work too, I upgraded because my employer used to have a wellness thing with good deals on Fitbit every 2 years.

I never had a fitbit last for over a year. Always broke around 9-12 months. Switched to Huawei GT watch and never looked back. Had it two years, far more functional, better stats and cheaper.

On my Charge 4 One year one day, plastic band clips broke off from the main body.  I did get a 35% discount on a new Fitbit device.

Almost made it two years with my Inspire HR. RIP to my Fitbit last week. Customer service sent me a 35% off code but I decided to switch brands.

I got the Versa 2 in November of 2019. It started to have screen issues these last few weeks when everyone was having sync issues. (I also had sync issues.) My screen went black but the watch was still on. Then it would shutdown completely. Reset it a few times and kept having screen issues ... either black or flashing. Finally gave up on it and let the battery drain. Gave it one last try, charged it, and it's been fine ever since. Not sure what was going on with the screen. The only thing I notice now is that the top of the screen doesn't respond to touch very well. Luckily, I can access notifications and settings without "pulling down the menu" from the top. At this point, I'll ride it out as long as it lasts. Not sure if I'll do another Fitbit next or move on to a different brand (Garmin or Samsung).

Charge 2, 3 years and I have a Charge 4 now-the 3 is all scratched up but still works! I wear it on my ankle when I charge up my 4.
