Fluance Ai61

I love having the super lows of my sub, but I feel like if I change my crossover to let in higher frequencies it gets muddy (cheap sub with big port) so I want some speakers that can really respond quickly and really kick. Ideally at about 120w a channel. For reference I tried some Fluance Ai61's thinking they would do it, but I was thoroughly unimpressed and now I'm wary of bookshelf claims. Or if you have sub recommendations that can do this I'm open to alternatives.

As mentioned, we're also fans of the Audioengine A1-MR speakers, which swap Bluetooth for Wi-Fi, and the Harman Kardon SoundSticks 4, which offer superior subwoofer depth. That said, the Ai61's excellent sound quality and attractive design make it easy to overlook any quirks. You must have a look at Fluance Ai61 . A multi connector type include a great Bluetooth!.

I suggest getting a reasonable set of powered speakers, like the Kanto YU6, or Fluance AI61, or Audioengine A5+, then also picking up a subwoofer. Not so you can shake the room, but so you can increase the gain on the low end for lower volumes. I listen at “reasonable” levels in my city apartment, and don’t crank the volume, so it’s nice to be able to fill in the lower frequencies.

After some research I purchased FLuance AI61, the speaker meets all requirements including look, easy to setup, 2 digital inputs, and the highs and details are much better than my current (of course) but I found the bass severely lacking. I'm not looking for too much bass and I know enough bass is subjective, and I may have a preference for boosted bass, but for comparison even AirPods produces better bass than these (especially on the suspension and resonance). My other alternative was Edifier s1000MkII, would these produce more bass?
