..Even with this 8000Btu unit I couldn't cool a room good enough to below 74 after blowing it all day what my 6000 BTU GE old unit could do. After returning it I got another Fridgiaire 8000 BTU at almost little more than half of this price and it cools much better

For the price point it offers too little cold air for even a small size room. All other bells and whistles like one being able to control it through Wifi works fine but what's the point, it's an AC and it should cool your room period..

This air conditioner produces an extremely loud but very high-pitched noise. According to customer service, the noise is "normal". If you're somewhere around 30 or older, you will probably love this unit, because you won't hear a thing. If you're younger than that, good luck falling asleep ever again
