 The unit proved to be both a bit taller and deeper as well as considerably wider. The requirement indicated in the included instruction pamphlet for positioning the microwave so as to have 8" of open space above the top surface makes this one unacceptable as replacement.

Like some features, dislike others

1) The light inside is so dim you can't see anything inside the microwave. Not a huge deal, but important for me (-0.5 stars)

Great for the price

 Can you live with these two things? Probably. but on some things you'll need to stay by the microwave to stop it because you sometime need 15 seconds because 10 is too little and 20 is too much.

 This one also has a rotating level selector knob which can adjust time and meal portions without using the above buttons. I found the level selector knob a lot quicker to adjust specific time than manually punching numbers into buttons. One of the most striking features of Galanz ExpressWave is its exterior design. It is stainless steel with a microwave door window tinted black and chrome plated rotating knob. Rotating knob looks like an idea taken from a luxury car. Galanz microwave has a very large exterior dimension which should be taken into consideration because it does take a lot of counter space
