The Global 8" chef knife is crafted from a single piece of stainless steel, giving it a distinctive look and feel. It has one of the thinner heels of any of the rockered blades we tested, and the entire length of the blade stays thin, which aided performance when slicing, mincing, and chiffonading. Its minimal rocker lets it perform almost as equally as well at chopping and dicing. 
We don't have too many complaints about this chef knife, but we will note that the handle was a bit small for our larger-handed testers. This made it difficult to obtain significant amounts of leverage while trying to cut through tough squashes. However, the short handle might just make it a perfect choice for those with smaller hands looking for an eight-inch rockered blade. The Global 8" is a great all arounder at an affordable price, perfect for putting through the wringer of everyday use either at home or in a professional kitchen.

Sorry, then, you can see all those holes appearing right, so these are intended for non-slip grip. So if you have like any grease or oil on your hand, this prevents the knife from slipping from your fingers

 It'S not gon na drop on the floor and probably cause an accident and inside this handle they contain sand sand that you see from ocean like seashore. What it does is that it balances the blade and the handle. So if you put your finger in between then there you go it balances itself. It'S very well balanced and what's good about global knife is that this is perfect for cooks or chefs with smaller hands who find blue stuff or a shinned too big for their hands

I have a dear friend that is 60 years old and she has no idea. All her knives are cheap department store crap that won't cut warm butter. She does like to cook so I thought a couple of knives might brighten her world a little. I've looked here for recommendations and the Victorinox Fibrox seems to fit

 This knife is made of Cromova 18, which is a relatively soft steel. It's about 56 to 58. And there are pros and cons to having a soft steel like that. On the one hand, compared to a Shun that has a 61 hardness, this is going to dull a little bit quicker and it's going to need honing more often

 And the reason they do that is to really control the weight and make a very, very light sort of knife. And that's one of the things globals are very known for is having a light and nimble knife. And it really makes it less tiring to work with, especially if you're going to cook a lot. The knives do have a lifetime warranty, which is great

I came back and he had not honed the edge, so it had deteriorated well beyond repair to its original condition. Make sure you keep it sharp and treat it like family, and this knife will treat you better than any knife I have used, and I own Shun, Whustof, Henckels 5-star, Sabatier, and other various brands. I am sold on global
