I LOVE LAMP

 Another weak point on these lamps is the base that clamps on to a surface. They're often ridiculously cheap and can't stand the stress involved without breaking or coming loose. For this reason I still use the base/clamp part from a lamp I had years ago that is made well and stays put. Not a bad lamp, compared to the cheap garbage out there

A quality cantilever lamp, compared to others.

It provides light where I need it without any problems.

 I will update this review if the lamp fails, but right now it doesn't seem like there's a better option out there for this style of lamp - unless you go looking for a vintage model without plastic parts.
