 I mean, it was cool that it had a battery you know that you know, kind of worked, but I probably wouldn't recommend it like it wouldn't be the reason I would pick up this phone. I think that's the best way to put it. So in terms of the overall battery life, that's pretty much what I would say here. And to be honest, I think the Google Pixel 2 I think is still an interesting phone

 I think that was kind of what happens when you get you know, this close to 2018, especially 2019 when a lot of phones were starting to ramp up and those were amazing phones too. 2017 was a year of basically hardware, you know, physical changes and I think this phone still performs pretty well. I don't want to sit here and say it's like amazing. it's really not that great of a performing phone

 I mean, if you're comparing it to the Pixel 6, it's not even close. There's really no point in doing that because you're not going to be getting that smooth of an experience with this type of phone. However, with phones like you know, the Galaxy S8 that came out this year, this phone probably feels a little bit smoother and a little bit faster than it. Really, the only phones that's not beating is like the iphone 10, but I still think this is a pretty decent phone in terms of performance when you consider the age, the price, and everything else that I usually state

The pictures, even from my Pixel 2, get more compliments than my iPhone 12 and people with new iPhones still ask if I have my Pixel with me when they want to take important pictures. Overall, I think that the Google Pixel (even with its flaws), is a smart phone, a really smart phone. Like a personal assistant. The iPhone just doesn’t feel like that to me

 The oleophobic coating that once protected this screen from fingerprints has worn away over time at this point. If I use this phone at all without washing my hands extensively first, a lot of residue will show up on the screen, and it'll just generally make the phone a little bit more unpleasant to use. That may not be an issue you run into if you get a newer or less used Pixel 2, but it was a problem for me. If you can get over that minor inconvenience though, the view from the other side aka the software and overall performance of this phone is just fantastic

 These older flagships are getting pretty cheap nowadays, and the Pixel 2 is one of the cheapest on the market. I scored this kind of blue model in nearly perfect condition for about 90 us dollars. That's a pittance compared to any new phone these days. The reviewers back in 2017 were right when it comes to Android phones

So, I just recently decided to try iOS for the first time in 8 years. I just bought a Note 20 Ultra last August, and a iPhone 12 Pro Max 3 days ago. They both have features I love and it’s going to be hard to pick which one I keep. I really wish there was a practical way to use both.

I’ve been using an iPhone since the iPhone 5. I now have an iPhone 12 as my main phone but I have an Oppo A5. I know my Android is old but the personalization options are a little overwhelming but I love it. I use my Android for productivity and the iPhone for the parts my Android is lacking especially performance-wise.

Ya im literally the exact same as you. 

I always have this urge to wanna switch between a Galaxy and an iPhone every 6 months or so.. i had an 11 Pro.. then traded it for a Galaxy S20 and then a few months later I wanted my iPhone back.. and then a few months later I missed 120hz. 

Theres pros and cons for each device and Ive lost more money switching between phones then I wouldve if I just had both at the same time. 

I currently own a Note 20 Ultra and when the new iPhone gets announced ill be upgrading to that and keeping my Note 20 Ultra this time. 

Hopefully the new iPhone has 120hz! 

But at this point its cheaper to just have 2 phones and be happy switching every couple months to me!

Same here. I cannot stick to one phone for long. I love a lot of what the iphone is good at and I also hate many things about it. Same with android.

I absolutely love having the best of both worlds, it’s just so versatile. Many people question me or call it dumb for carrying two phones, but I see it as a huge plus.

Yup I'm using both. There's so much about Android i absolutely love. But there's also so much i absolutely hate. Same goes for IOS. So much too love, AND hate. So i'm currently using my iPhone X and Note 20 ultra. Great combo.

I have an ip11 and p4xl. I’ve been using my iPhone ever since I got it 2 months ago. The pixel just seems like a worse iPhone to me know; not in every way but in general. The once I sell my p4xl, I think I’m gonna buy a Samsung. Probably the fan edition.

Blackberry 8700 was my all time favorite phone. Then i went on to Android... HTC was my brand of choice. M7, M8, M9 I even had the HTC that ran windows and I side loaded android on it. I loved the designs and how HTC sense was so easy to use. After the M9 they didn’t wow me anymore and started with the Desire series. they were made of plastic and didn’t run with top of the line Snap Dragon Processors. I’ve always hated Samsung’s Touch Wiz and I still do.. when it was time I had no choice and went with Apple. Let me tell you I love my iPhone. I just upgraded to the 12 Pro Max and I love this phone. I love it!!!!

I have an s21 ultra, been with samsung for a while and google/lg before that, but I've been considering a 12 mini as a second smaller phone to throw my sim in when I don't want to carry around this Phablet

I almost got an ipad a couple months ago (ended up with a Tab s7+) and I've been tempted by ios ever since, last ios device I had was a 4th gen itouch, and there's no way I'm giving up android as my main device.  I am just waiting for 12s to be on amazon renewed so I can buy with my amazon card no interest

For me I'm a pretty light user. Social media, youtube and music streaming is all I really do. I am addicted to high refresh rate displays which is why I still have an Android phone. But if the iPhones have 120hz displays this year I'll jump on a carrier deal to get one.

I bought an iPhone SE and an oneplus device together, 4 years ago. Needless to say, the tiny iphone works fine even today but had to change the android device midway. Looking forward to change both this year.

<p>It wasn&#39;t until Apple released the iPhone 6 and plus models did this perfect world of aesthetic, size and customisation on my smart phone choice become more frustrating.</p>

<p>Ever since then, have been torn between Android phones one day and iPhone the next.<br/>
Over the years I must have switched, sold, swapped between iPhone and Android devices 10+ times at least!</p>

<p>Fast forward to today and the struggle still persists, my latest swap was to part with my 11 Pro max for a Samsung Note20 Ultra 5g, then back to 11 Pro Max, and then back to a  Samsung S20 Ultra 5G all within a few months.</p>

<p>This was costing me big in both replacement cases, cables etc as the swaps become more frequent.<br/>
That is until earlier today when I thought, sod this, and purchased an iPhone 12 Pro Max.</p>

<p>I now have both the iPhone and Android and breathed a huge sigh of relief that my endless deliberating and swapping days are over!</p>

<p>Anyone in the same boat as me?  Anyone just now rock x2 phones as a result?</p>
