 You have a little bit of bezel at the top and the bottom for this day and age and this thing looked exponentially better than the Pixel 3 Xl. Although the 3xl was more premium, this thing just looked like a better phone now. We had the Usb type C port on this thing and we had a headphone jack as well, which was actually pretty interesting. The fact that they put that type of thing on this phone was really, really cool

 Still, you know there's some other things which I love even more about. You know, this phone than the camera, but you know it's one of those things to keep in mind. So in terms of the camera setup, that kind of covers it up. But one of my favorite things about this phone that pretty much still holds up pretty well is actually with the software

Welcome back everyone! Let's go ahead and take a look at the Google Pixel 3a and see how this specific phone holds up in 2022.. Now one thing, I will definitely tell you that a lineup from Google is actually one of my favorite lineups that they actually make. I think the Pixel 3a devices, which were the originators in the way, were awesome devices and I was so happy to see them

 So I will definitely tell you. if you're trying to get a better performing phone, I would definitely say something like the Pixel 5a may be the better route for you. I think that's going to be a better decision for most people out there and that is probably going to be the thing I would recommend majority people to do is just to go ahead and pick up the Pixel 5a in that situation, but this is still a decent performing phone and I think you know you can't really go wrong with this one either. So in terms of that, that kind of covers it up there

People are annoyed because one of the largest companies in the world is still not capable of maintaining proper supply chains or distribution. Quite a few phones have launched since the that hands on review.

At this rate, the OnePlus Nord will release earlier. That's a phone that will be around the same price as the 4a.

The Pixel 5 is probably not done yet judging by the lack of leaks from the very leaky Google. If the p5 is late by 2-3 months with the 765, there's a possibility that the 775 might be announced. Google's propensity to launch phones deep into the life cycle of the SOC will bight them in the ass.

I had been waiting for the pixel 4a so long that I just bought an iPhone lol. No regrets. I suppose the same happened to many other users, some will get the upcoming Nord. Some got s10's etc. Google is just killing themselves at this point in the phone market.

Yeah I've been a pixel fanboy. I've had a Nexus 4, pixel XL, and pixel 2 currently. This is by far the longest I've had a smart phone since I've owned smart phones.

 I used to get new phones all the time but any more, I don't need a camera that's 5% better than one that took awesome pictures 2 years ago. My eyes aren't getting any better. Quick interface and long battery life are all that matter. Charging mine 3 times a day and still coming short. Loading documents taking 5 times longer than the coworker with a 2 year old iPhone. These are reasons I'll replace a phone nowadays. I've oppted to get a Samsung (not a big fan of the bloat, but will work on thinning that out as much as I can) as it has decent battery life. I was looking at Asus zenphone, or some others and being on Verizon just leaves you out. 

I'll miss the pixel, maybe in 3 years I'll see what they got going on.

New phones ALWAYS eventually come out. If you're that impatient for a new phone, Pixel or otherwise, that means...
a) your current phone is shit.

In my opinion there are small differences between each year phone release.

So any old 3 / 3A at cheaper price should be still be a good deal. (I got a brand new 3A For 280 USD 3 weeks ago for my dad, and that was a bargain)


But now that the stock of the 3A is officially out and maybe the stock is being depleted in 3rd party sellers. It's going to be a real issue. So as soon as the 3A runs out of stock in Amazon etc. Google should have the replacement ready

So if they didn't plan to release it May itself, they wouldn't have sent the prototypes to bunch of different countries/ reviewers. It was not released in May because of last minute changes, replacing the 730 with 765 and so on. It has less do to with corona as much as it has with Google predicting poor sales of the 4a due to average specs, so they had to make changes to the specs so they can ask premium for the device and also claim it has better than average specs. After the 250 dollar moto fusion release, a phone with 730 and stock Android and more than acceptable camara, nobody was going to purchase a pixel with 730 at significantly high price point. Google know that better than anybody.

Personally I don't think it's happening. Google's not known for having a consistent track record on phones except for the baseline pixel series. That and the pixel 4 goes on sale frequently.

Well there seems to be a fair amount of pent up demand for the 4a.  People are frustrated because they don't want to move on to another make of phone or iPhone.  The lack of communication from Google has made this a frequent topic.

Google is not doing sh**t. Revise their product?! No, they are delaying so that they can earn more money. Their is nothing wrong with that but it is a horrible mistake. The phone is ready and packed in the box.

Only reason I'm waiting, because it will have a 3.5mm jack, LTE band 71, it will cost less than $400 & I want to upgrade from my Pixel 2XL.

Also a serious explanation for the 4a may be bc of how the new iPhone SE did, not that it flopped or anything but with the hype around budget phones, I feel like the iPhone SE didn&#39;t meet the expectations, heck I have already seen MetroPCS offer it for only $99, who know if it&#39;s due to COVID-19 or whatever but Google is still trying to find a perfect time for release.</p>

<p>Edit: I am not talking down those who are genuinely excited for the 4a or those who are huge pixel fans with difficult circumstances, as a Pixel fan I also am interested and excited for what Google has to offer. That being said, this sub I think has been very helpful to pixel owners with questions and concerns they may have, and seeing the same complaint over and over again over an unreleased product doesn&#39;t help anyone with actual questions and honestly is spam. I would also like to reinforce that there is a global pandemic going on, a lot of work takes place for the release of a phone, and everything hasn&#39;t been the same for a while.</p>
