One exception is the food-release test, in which testers cook four eggs in quick succession. The eggs easily slide out of the best pans but had to be nudged out of the frying pan in this set.  Well, if you can see, but it's starting to chip right across here, a little bit there, so there's ceramic finish has started to come off so overall, I would not give these pans a very good rating. Considering I got two pots and two pans for over $ 300, the see 90-day warranty on their website, but I have had these pots and pans for about six months. This pan was warped the day that I got it and I contacted Gotham steel and they told me to send it back to them, which I would had to have paid $ 10 for processing and handling, and then I would have had to pay an insurance to Make sure that my product didn't get lost or damaged, which would have totaled $ 30, and I can walk into the store here in the Lower Mainland and purchase this pan for 30 bucks. So why would I pay $ 30 to send this pan back? Was a defect from them at my cost makes no sense

 But the SUPER annoying thing thats not directly mentioned or easily missed is the large frying pan did NOT come with a lid. So be aware that it’s 4 pots/pans and only 3 lids. We just moved into a new house so as of now they will have to work in the meantime.

Received as gift

 I have never seen one. I don't know anything about it. What it does say. It says 395 recipes inside with this nine and a half inch square pan, and it also says on both boxes: no oil or butter needed now

 You think of the point that it's done so go get a plate here. It looks like anywhere that it's actually touched that it's dry, it's coming out very smooth. One thing I will say I do notice a little bit of a smell a little bit of like a plasticky smell, I'm trying to assume me. I mean it could just because I'm using this for the first time, but I am noticing a scent

 As I talk to you that neat square pan, I think that's a really good deal. It'S very reasonable and seems like really good cookware, and I am not sponsored by Gotham steel. This was a gift that was given to me by a subscriber to our channel and they just sent it to us out of the kindness of their heart, and we really appreciate that. So

 I don't know what the I think. It said something about this on the box: okay, this is the steamer tray and it looks like it has the plastic thing that you have to take off, so I'm not gon na. Take that off right now, but it's very nice and it comes with a plastic coating to keep it from scratching. So that's that's very helpful and then you have this deep pan

 I would crack an egg directly into the pan and begin scrambling with a rubber spatula until it was cooked tight. It would easily slide right into the dish. I immediately hand-washed and towel dried it since it was so easy to clean - I wouldn't have even thought to put it in the dishwasher. Around the 6 or 7 month mark I began needing a tiny amount of butter for it to perform like it used to

.. My first pan work great for about 6 or 7 months, but even with perfect care it began to lose its effectiveness. I used it nearly every day to cook a single scrambled egg for my son

..for a somewhat short time. I'm disappointed in the once great non-stick coating's lack of longevity (which was the selling point of this pan)

 My first one was purchased in a kitchen gadget store and I didn't save the receipt. (Some stated the shipping cost wasn't worth sending it in for a warranty claim, but I'm in the same state they are so for maybe 8 bucks I'll obtain a replacement this time). I don't own metal utensils so it was a non-issue for me, but some reviews blamed failure on the use of metal utensils. That's a moot point as here is the statement from their website: "the Gotham Steel Skillet is made to stand up to metal without scratching so you can prep your food right in the pan"

Works great for a while but doesn't last

 . IF it holds up to metal and is as good as the ceramics that can't which it has so far I will be happy . I can tell you as a guy that cooks with other ceramic pans on high heat butter does sort of cook into the surface and you have to really soak it if you start to get a little sticking . I usually let it soak in vinegar overnight but that is getting more expensive to do 

 I usually cook at 1/3 with NG from off and it works great . Eggs done nice and fluffy / moist . . IF it holds up to metal and is as good as the ceramics that can't which it has so far I will be happy 

 Maybe on the others though I can appreciate the chance to buy one for this price to try before paying $60 for a lager pan . If they would of put a insulated handle on it like my other ceramic pans that actually cost a little less but cannot handle metal utensils I would of been in bliss but so far its ok. Update I read the instructions for this one . I never use butter or high heat or seasoned it

The paperwork is frightful , Ok pan but you better not forget a potholder or use high heat if you like butter they say .

All too often some of the egg sticks to the rivets which means I can't just pour the fried egg onto the plate without loosening the egg from the rivets

 The pan is very easy to clean except when contents come into contact with the rivets and then they burn on and are hard to clean.

Great egg frying pan except...

 And yes, if you're frying eggs, use a little butter, oil, bacon grease, etc. and your eggs will not stick a bit. There may be non-stick out there that are truly "no-oil egg pans", but if there are, they're not $20. I knocked a star off due to the uncomfortable handle

I've been using this pan (11") daily, for about a month, and I'm very pleased with it. It's a ~$20 pan. so keep your expectations realistic and you likely won't end up making a 1-star rant review. Don't use high heat, use only wood or silicon/plastic utensils and hand wash after each use and you'll have a great performing and great looking pan for a long time

 There may be non-stick out there that are truly "no-oil egg pans", but if there are, they're not $20. I knocked a star off due to the uncomfortable handle. I'll likely buy more of these Gotham pans.

PERFECT PANS

First time using this non stick copper titanium pan. I was drawn to the statement you don't need to use oil or butter on the label. Eggs burned in under a minute and stuck to the pan on a low-medium heat. Will try again at a very low heat to see if that is any better
