 Greater Goods had good customer service and issued me a refund for the device along with a 15% discount code to purchase another one. Let's hope this next one doesn't run into the same issue.

 Replaced the batteries with Duracell and generic Staples-branded batteries and the device would not turn on. It seems like there may have been an electrical issue inside the components of the device. Faulty Batteries

NO bluetooth! My first version of this companies monitor had Blue Tooth and it took me some frustration to realize this doesn't have it and it doesn't sync to the app. That's a huge bummer as the price is still not that cheap and you cannot sync it to their app. So the history is a LONG and MANUAL process to pull off and record. Didn't realize it - and though it's not a deal breaker I would not purchase this machine again knowing it does not have blue tooth to connect so I can pull my readings down without manually having to do it

Easier to use cuff - I find BP cuffs to be an exercise in futility as I am a petite female and the cuffs are really hard to get on as my upper arm is small. They tend to slip all over the place - wish this was a smaller cuff meant for more petite people but then it wouldn't fit a lot so..

Lots of pro's - some con's - for me accurate at a good price point

 It's accurate, tested against my (paramedic) husband's cuff & stethoscope. The batteries that came with it are in the monitor; however, I noticed that taking them out wiped all my data, so I just leave them now. I store it tucked neatly in its case, with the power cord still attached and plugged in. The monitor stays cool to the touch

 Otherwise I love this thing ● Original (4 stars): I love having a bp monitor at home. I have a dysautomia (POTS) so it's nice to have evidence of my symptoms - both to reassure myself, and to show others, that I'm not making it up. It's accurate, tested against my (paramedic) husband's cuff & stethoscope. The batteries that came with it are in the monitor; however, I noticed that taking them out wiped all my data, so I just leave them now

 But beyond that, I love that it's small, & that it's so easy to use - basically fool-proof. Earlier I'd said that the size of the sleeve made it tricky to get on. - another positive is that after posting my 1 star review, i was contacted by the company to talk about the issue (didn't reach out back to them, as it started working after or i figured it out how to properly cuff my arm)

It is not expensive, it is not heavy, it does come with AC adapter and case BUT it will "do" your heart rate go up and blood pressure increase just because it throws too much easy the E1 error, every 3-5 reads. When inflating, before reaching out to 30s it stops with an E1 error that should mean that the cuff is not properly adjusted (keep playing with the cuff until you get it right, but your readings might not be accurate anymore when you get the right adjustment for the cuff). Never had this type of issues with a another blood pressure monitor (but to admit it, it was double the price of this), so for this issue i give it a 1 star for the ease of use.

UPDATE: Rating it for a 4 star after few months of using it (E1 errors gone)

Good price and features, but why dont I get good readings?

 I should also note that different machines have different size cuff plugs, so they are not interchangeable. You need to make sure you get one designed for your machine.

 However, when I looked up the Lifesource monitor here on Amazon, it did not have the same cuff that my father's machine has. His seems to have the replacement cuff. Really stiff, wide cuff but great customer service

 The simplicity reminds me of an Apple product. A great user experience is nothing if the product does not do what it is supposed to do. I took it to a doctor visit and compared against the BP that the nurse took. It was within a couple of points on both BP and pulse rate

 The user interface is also clean and simple - buttons are big and easy to press, the display has good contrast and large numbers, the hose connection is solid and the hose is a reasonable length.
