Green Star Elite Juicer Review and My Favorite Green Juice Recipe

 THAT is a major understatement.  As a juicer, it's good but I wouldn't say that it's materially better than the Omega that it replaced which was $200 cheaper. I expected this to be an upgrade to top of the line but unless I'm missing something, it's just another good juicer. There are the same issues with pulp gumming up the works, you still need to re-filter it after juicing

I guess if you're really into juicing you might notice the difference between this and the Omega but I was expecting that I would pay more and those issues would go away

The best tool we found was a small make-up brush. I guess maybe a pressure washer might work. Once you're used it once, it will NEVER be fully clean again

Tribest GSE-5010 Greenstar Elite Masticating Juicer Review

 Just wish it were faster. However, it is my first double geared masticator which is different I believe from a regular juicer (which incidentally I have never tried before either). The pulp is fairly dry but don't screw in the setting for the driest pulp or it will take forever; rotate the screw halfway or so. Cons: you have to cut the cabbage into fairly thin 1cm or smaller strips (kind of like making coleslaw) to feed into the chute and not too much or it will clog it up

 to fully juice a full cabbage and wash up. Cleaning the machine is a bit of a pain especially the fine filter as the pulp is sometimes hard to dislodge with the brush. If particles get stuck in the chute, and don't grind, reverse the button and I usually fish out the larger pieces with a small pair of tongs and re feed softer leaves. Don't run the machine non stop for more than 15 min

 Also the warranty, you know, it's over double as long and in addition the Green Star Elite juicer has the new 3 stage juicing with the crushing, the mixing and the squeezing whereas the original juicer only has the crushing and the squeezing. We sell a lot of these guys and by far in my opinion this is like the Cadillac of all the juicers. The only downside of this machine is that, you know, it does take a little bit longer to clean than some of the machines are a few parts but let me tell you, you're rewarded in the taste, the quality and the yield of the juice you're going to make in the Green Star Elite juicer.  Last thing I want to talk about before I go is the warranty. You know, the Green Star Elite juicer has a 12 year warranty and that's the longest warranty on any gear juicer in the entire industry. Now the Green Star Elite juicer formerly had a 5 year warranty but this machine is so durable and the manufacturer wants to show that it's taking the leadership stance in the gear juicer technology by offering the longest warranty.
