 The locking zippers are convenient because you have an extra level of security in busy train stations and hostels and airports. Unlike a regular pack, this has stiff foam padding in the high wear areas to protect your cargo. The three padded handles are perfectly situated for picking up loading on the luggage, racks and retrieving from carousels compression straps secure the load and can also be used to latch more gear to the outside. One of my favorite features is the innovative three-in-one cover

Nice Pack but Horrible Rain Cover

 It will be nice to include some sort of velcro to secure the backing of the cover. Please please fix and redesign that rain cover to accommodate for easy packing at the airport when bag is fully packed as well as easy on/off when it rains. Minor issue: Another nice thing will be to have compression straps inside the pack since this will give a relief on a zipper and the seams of the pack when you are trying to squeeze everything in. The mesh top on top is also a bit weird because it limited the easy access as well as being able to put things in last minute

Nice Pack but Need Improvement

 It’s not a huge issue but is kind of annoying and a little difficult to maneuver both hands up there when wearing the pack.

Cons that I found: hip belt has no pockets. While there are a lot of separated compartments all over this pack, it was lacking in the hip belt area. I also found the water bottle holder pockets to be woefully inadequate. Forget about toting anything larger than 750mL in those pockets, and even then I was always worried my Camelbak was going to fall out

 I was also unable to adjust the small shoulder straps up top while wearing the bag without using both hands. Usually I can reach up there, tug the straps on my other bags with one hand, and they adjust very easily; not the case with these straps. It’s not a huge issue but is kind of annoying and a little difficult to maneuver both hands up there when wearing the pack.

Great features for travel

The harness (shoulder) straps are shorter than what I am accustomed too.  Overall, this pack would make a fine travel pack, getting from point a to point b and perhaps for someone city touring, however, I would not recommend this pack for winter hikes & snowshoe excursions etc. as it lacks some of the core essentials and comforts, even something as simple as pockets on the waist belt are simple design features that this pack doesn’t have.

The cover should be bigger to fit the pack when full and it should be stored at the bottom of the pack where the water proof/padding from would help when placing the pack down instead of taking up space on one of the most accessible parts of the bag.

Bad quality and some silly design flaws

 But I had to put the shoulder straps almost as high as they would go (usually with packs I have the opposite problem, they barely go as low as I need them). But then the belt strap (well padded, thank you!) was almost as tight as it would go (about half an inch left) if I was not wearing a thick sweater or jacket. So someone with a smaller waist than me will not be able to tighten the belt strap as much as needed for good support.

 The main compartment could have benefitted from interior compression straps (the existing straps can pretty much only be used once the zipper is closed).

If you are looking for a pack to go backpacking in the wilderness, this is not the pack you want. It is really intended for traveling by air and perhaps train if you then need to carry your luggage a bit of a distance and over terrain where a roll-aboard would not work well. For that it's a good pack. But it has no straps to attach any gear to it and you can't use the rain cover when wearing it

There are not a lot of places or straps to attach gear, so this pack is better suited for city travel and not an extended backpacking adventure. I would recommend this pack more for travel where you want an alternative to take a rolling suitcase or duffel bag. It wouldn't be the ideal pack for a multi-day backpacking trip.  Overall it has great features and durable construction!

In use pros: Comfort is a key and it showed.  A full bag and carried with no discomfort.

 The Zip-off daypack is an awesome feature and is very easy to take off and on. The compartment for dirty gear is good too. The Bordeaux red color is looking great and pretty easy to clean
