 Well, concerning as far as poor waffles can concern a man. It'd be like having a cast-iron pan that decided to go cold in the middle of cooking before heating up again. That simply wouldn't do.

 And, so far, the waffles have been okay. We went through a dozen batches, and while we haven't nailed it down exactly, we think we're getting closer. We think.

.  One thing we noticed (and which might explain the less-than-mindblowing waffles so far) is the green "ready" light turning off in the middle of cooking, and then turning back on a bit later. To my understanding, this light goes on once a threshold temperature is met, and stays off otherwise. That would mean that, in the middle of our waffles cooking, this device is losing some heat, and then struggling to get back up to "proper" temperature

 Good morning everybody, thanks for checking out WaffleMakersHub.com. Today we're going to be doing a review of the Hamilton Beach Belgian Style Flip Waffle Maker and we're going to see how it makes some of our yummy, perfect waffle batter recipe that you can find on WaffleMakersHub.com

 It took about four minutes for that to go on on setting two. I'm going to go ahead and flip over our waffle machine and you can see all the steam coming out of it. And I want to note that just a little bit of batter came out, but none really drip down onto our drip tray. So about a half a cup of batter seemed to be good

 Another note that I want to make is that it does have this nice drip tray to catch any batter that might fall over. Comes right out. Perfect, easy for cleaning and put it right back there. There we go

 And if you like them a little bit soft and not as brown, you can keep the temperature at one. So I'm going to go ahead and turn it up to two for us. There we go. You probably noticed that the light went off that said ready because I turned the heat up on the waffle maker

 To get a even cook, we need to flip the waffle over and rotate front to back. Once flipped around and waiting the average of 4 1/2 minutes per waffle to cook, the waffles are really good. They have nice deep grooves that give the waffle an awesome texture and are great to fill with butter and syrup or fruit and cream. Once we figured out how to get an even cook, my family all love the waffles that this iron produces

Alright as waffle iron, removable irons are Niice

 Going by the light on the machine was laughable, the waffles were pale, limp, and gummy. I waited until I no longer saw any steam coming out of the iron (a good indicator) and the waffles were brown but still kind of floppy. Ultimately I waited until the waffles were crispy but by that time it was burnt and inedible.  I'll buy a more expensive iron eventually but for now I've discovered you can remove the waffles when they start to get brown and put them in a 300 degree oven to dry out the outside and get something kind of crispy

Good price and decent build quality

 Many waffle makers i have owned provide a bell or other noise which is a nice feature. Product feels very cheaply made and the final issue i had with this was that the handle got stuck when i went to flip the waffle maker back when the waffle was ready. If this was a $20 - $25 product, it would be a good machine at that price point, but it is incredibly overpriced at $45.

I had gotten a Different waffle maker for Christmas and returned it because it would tilt to one side and I had to hold it even while it cooked. I ordered this one online. I really Love that the grids are removable for washing. That is my favorite thing about this waffle maker

 I don't care for the fact it takes so much longer to cook the waffle than the other ones. They are like 90 seconds and this one is 5 to 6 minutes on the average. It also is tricky as you fill it once with 1 cup and is perfect then the next time same amount it either overflows or doesnt fill completely. We Love waffles, these are sometimes perfect and other times fall apart

It may just be me but I am having a LOT of trouble figuring this out. I follow the directions and the stuff seems to be cooking but it is SO difficult to get the stupid thing out that it starts to burn on one side by the time I can do it. I don't have a lot of experience with making waffles so it may just take practice. The good thing is that it is super easy to clean because the plates come out - that is why I got this one over some of the others, I am hoping it is just me and needing more practice, but the problems are also making me not want to use it
