I’m order to properly cook with a deep fryer it has to get hot enough. Fully cranked to the “375 degree” and showing ready on the unit, a separate and reliable thermometer shows it’s barely getting to 350 degrees… and then the temperature goes drastically down when you put your food in. Granted, that Is expected to an extent, but after filling this with a large amount of oil you could expect it to stay closer to temperature. The fries I cooked came out very uneven, some dark brown, some still white
