 After opening it, I tried to figure out how to Roperlu attach the mixer to the case and while doing so, I opened the little trap door on the end to make sure the cord was placed correctly in the notch and the door came off and split part of the case. This was enough to make me want to return it since I had not used it yet. Was very disappointed. Had to tape the broken piece and still can’t get the trap door to reattach to the case

 This renders the whisk half-useless. I wrote in to Hamilton Beach for a whisk replacement but it will cost me $5.99 for shipping and handling. If I will be paying for a cheaply-made whisk attachment that will just break in the future, I would rather not continue relying on my Hamilton Beach hand mixer
