 At 230 dollars, I felt like that was a pretty big steal to be able to walk away with everything that I needed to get started hammock Camping And among those items, I was sent the Quest Tarp, which is a Sil nylon tarp from Hammock Gear. It's fairly popular option. it's also lightweight. I also received and I put some of this stuff in my own bags

 Um, because I was in a position like a lot of people are, I was curious about Hammock Camping and wanted to give it a try. However, currently I feel like in the market there was a lot of confusion on what you need, what you don't need, and what was going to work best for each individual. Well, for me, Hammond Gear solved that problem with the Wonderlust Kit, which is what I purchased back in late September and decided to use it as my primary shelter on my Appalachian Trail section hike in October. Now, I don't know who what the first company was to put out a basically one and all kit, but I know that Hammock Gears caught my attention first for not only what was in the kit, but the price tag on the kit

 So it's definitely do your research and don't be afraid to try it. I waited too long. One of the things you're going to find out immediately with this system is that it does not take long at all to get comfortable, even if you've never hammock camped. I was worried about being uncomfortable with being in a hammock, but I adapted to it almost immediately and like I said, probably got what I would say was some of the best sleep I've ever gotten on trail in 20 plus years of backpacking

Hammock Gear Wanderlust Kit (Real World Review!)

 So there's the same zipper system on the back side and this is the stuff sack that the hammock goes into and again, sort of similar to the hammock suspension or this, this daisy chain. this just clips on really quickly and easily. It's got these line locks there, just attention so no knots needed and really super easy to clip an unclip. No small fiddly hardware that's going to break or hard to handle with gloves

 It's very large and generous in size. It gives you lots of protection and one of the nice things about these tarps and what I do more mostly is if it's not actually raining on the air I don't think it's immediately gonna rain, actually. just take this tarp, leave those stakes out there and just throw it back like this. It's really easily deployable, but then I have all the views in operating area out here

 and I actually used quilts mostly to sleep on the ground. The next thing is going to be this: so that's the economy burrow top quilt in the hammock there and this is the economy incubator. bottom quilt. Both of these are +20 so they're they're gonna

 You can upgrade this kit and you can get a top quilt which is essentially the same as your sleeping bag and a bottom quilt which is the same as your sleeping pad or your NeoAir pad that you would use in a tent or sleep on the ground and have a complete set up including what they call your insulation. Or you could just use this with your traditional sleeping bag and ground pad. Not quite as good, but definitely doable. This hammock kit weighs about two and a half pounds
