Hi guys, I work in a control room all day (12 hrs shifts) and our chairs have gotten worn down from old age. Recently my boss has selected me for picking out the new chairs but I've been instructed to find one only on Amazon. We work rotating shifts so these chairs see alot of action. I'm looking for a chair with the following features/requirements: must be able to hold up to 400 lbs, have a high back for taller people, very comfortable padding for seat and back, sturdy arm rests, have the ability to lean back far. Heard about Herman Miller, Steelcase and Haworth before, but consider due to the price. Thanks for all recommendations!

<strong>Update</strong>: After took a research and look at comments, I consider Autonomous Ergochair 2 and Ergohuman Mid-Back mesh chair ME8ERGLO by Raynor, and thanks to <a href="/u/officechairtopper">u/officechairtopper</a> with <a href="https://standingdesktopper.com/most-comfortable-office-chair-for-long-hours/">the list of best computer chairs</a>, I bought the Ergohuman Chair. I will update more review about it when I recieve in the next few days</p>

Office Chair recommendations for long hours of sitting?

  I contacted customer service today, and might change my review depending on their answer. I might also update this review in the next few months depending on how comfy I feel after a long term use.  This chair is quite expensive, and I urge you to maybe try a cheaper alternative.

 The product has several defects that you do not expect, even from a renewed product. I bought the chair for being able to adjust my position, and because I wanted a high-end chair, as I spend ~10 hours a day working or relaxing in front of my computer. Please try tightening the tension on the chair that would could be the reading or it. In regards to the height adjustment.I am not able to understand the reason why it would drop all the way once.The pneumatic will act depending on the force it is used to lower

 The return policy has changed slightly from Herman Miller. They're no longer as open to taking any returned chair before they would give you 30 days full refund, pay for return shipping. They wouldn't even require you to have the original packaging. They would send you a box

 And without having an adjustment to accomplish that, that can become very difficult because you need to fit the chair instead of making the chair fit you. We've touched on this earlier, but the smoothness, oh, let me unlock it, the smoothness of the overall recline and the feeling that you get from the Aeron, which is unlike any other chair, really, really increases the overall comfort of the chair, in my opinion. Just this smooth, classic reclining rocking motion is something that you're not going to find on other chairs, and I really love that about this. The next thing that I really love in terms of comfort is going to be these armrests

 You are just stuck with the seat size that you get this direction. And this is probably one of the biggest problems on the Aeron, because a huge component of sitting in your chair ergonomically is making sure that you have the proper space from the front seat edge to the back of your legs. And without having an adjustment to accomplish that, that can become very difficult because you need to fit the chair instead of making the chair fit you. We've touched on this earlier, but the smoothness, oh, let me unlock it, the smoothness of the overall recline and the feeling that you get from the Aeron, which is unlike any other chair, really, really increases the overall comfort of the chair, in my opinion

 Still the same chair. I still believe that it's one of the most well-made chairs that we've ever tested since we reviewed it first. We've had a ton more chairs come through, and I still think that this is at the top of the heap in terms of build quality, overall quality of components, and just the look of the chair. It's just a fantastic-looking chair
