Why This 4K ULED TV Is WORTH The Upgrade! Hisense U7H: Unboxing & Review

Hey guys, just took delivery of my 75 inch U7G yesterday. Straight out of the box, I was blown away with the picture quality. The 4k 120hz while playing my Xbox Series X completely took me off guard to be honest. There's an obvious difference in the quality of the picture, and the 120hz motion makes things so smooth when running and shooting on Call of Duty. The first thing I noticed is the targets when I aim down sight don't get jittery and blurry when shooting, they stay easily visible. It actually made keeping the sight on the targets so much easier. (So gaming is a huge improvement so far!)

For the panel itself (knock on wood) I do not have any backlight bleed or anything like that. My TV has a manufacture date o March 2022, not sure if its possible that I got a VA panel, or just got lucky with an IPS. Last night I played a movie that was widescreen with the black bars on top and bottom. When the backlight was turned up way higher than I would ever have it at in a dark room, there was some gray light bleed on the top right corner, but that was it. When I turned the backlight down to about 25, it disappeared. So I can certainly live with this, if this is the only issues I am going to have when watching this in a dark room.

Not sure if I got lucky, or if this is how its supposed to be (Normal operation) but I have no complaints. I cannot believe how much better the picture quality is on this than my Samsung 65" 4k 6-Series. I even had motion enhancement turned on to smooth out the motions, and it didn't give me a bunch of ghosting or anything weird. It just looked very smooth. I tried settings that others have complained about, and noticed no real downgrade in quality. Very pleased so far, for the $905 I paid direct from Amazon, I cant imagine another TV gaming as well as this without getting into the $2000-$3000 price range for a 75 inch.

75" U7G Panel Lottery?

Hisense U7H Review | How is this TV so good? Quirks and all.

I'm looking to purchase a 65" TV primarily used for gaming. I can get the U8G now for $999, but I'm considering waiting until "mid-summer" for the U7H. I'm guessing that it will be at  the $1000 price point as well. It looks like the U8H is gonna be in the $1300 range which is more than I want to pay.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Buy U8G or wait for the U7H?

 Not only is its general viewing experience decent but its gaming features tick all the boxes for those looking for a 4K 120Hz TV for their PS5 and Xbox Series X. It has a great panel and feature set so definitely put it on your list of TVs when shopping around for a model that does it all. The Hisense U7H starts at $15,999 for the 55 inch, $90,999 for the 65 inch, $29,999 for the 75 inch and $39,999 for the 85 inch. So those are my thoughts on the Hisense U7H

 I could either download the Vita app by scanning the QR code on the screen or manually connect to the internet to sign in. I chose to use the app, it was simple enough once installed. I connected to the Wi-Fi through the app on the phone and got everything up and running. It definitely makes things easier instead of having to sit and type out your email and password using the remote to log into your Vita account

Hisense U7H ULED TV - Best for Gaming?

 Show me funny videos. Again, very very useful remote control. This actually really helps out with the overall user experience. Alright guys, so with that said, that pretty much sums up my experience with the Hisense U7H

 That means it's always going to be very smooth regardless of how the console is performing. So that's awesome. Now moving on to the ALLM which is the auto low latency mode where basically there is also this chipset in the TV itself that helps to reduce the lag that you see on the TV. So it's going to be again a very smooth kind of gameplay

 Oh before we go, there's also one thing that I really like about this particular Hisense U7H and that is actually the remote control. Of all things, the remote control right? But hear me out guys, we do have a couple of shortcut keys on the remote control. We have your Netflix, your Prime Video, YouTube, YouTube music, browser, everything is available with just one click but that's not it guys. We also have this microphone button here which is basically for voice control and the voice control works like a charm

Hisense U7H Review: This 65" 120Hz 4K ULED TV is Amazing!

 Does it look similar and the answer is unequivocally? No, people do not look blue in the face and dead and so for me personally I think these modes they're all kind of DOA from anybody expecting any kinds of real accuracy at all So if you are curb those expectations Now let's dive into if you do get this TV how you can maybe make it a little bit better first thing You want to do is disable the automatic light sensor? Okay, and always make sure local dimming is set to high because that will help you with the haziness now Notice how it's on high and it's still pretty hazy. That's one of the bad things about this television Traditionally local dimming is supposed to fix this and even if you start going lower You're not actually having the reverse effect happen where it just starts getting darker and better It just stays hazy. You can rename these inputs right and then Additionally, you have picture you click on that that'll activate all your picture settings like right there for example The get so it is a way to get to your picture settings and not I still recommend going through the menu mode because no matter What you do if you hit picture here, right? Yes, you're in the picture settings, but you'll never see things like game zone, which give you additional picture options Such as this independent black and white level So I would highly recommend just using the menu button anyway instead of the shortcut way of going through the settings button and then of course you have the Kind of you're gonna have to have Wi-Fi for it to work But essentially you have the time and date and stuff like that at the top And then if you click the settings button This is going to be very different from pulling up the settings that will happen in your menu So what i'll do is i'll lower down the Brightness of this entire scene here so you can see everything a little bit better Probably making it way too dark, but you guys can hopefully see a little bit better Now as I was saying this operates a little bit differently than just your menu button And it will give you a lot more options So, of course as you see you have your channel inputs your channels stuff like that and it's all the stuff that you'd find within google and their unique menu and Again, it's a lot of the same stuff your internet you have Accounts you have privacy options all the apps that you have things like that All the permissions that you have if you want to restrict certain things, you know security restrictions You allow it to install apps that aren't really known things like that you can do under system your accessibility Which will give you access to a bunch of different features and stuff like that Again, if you need accessibility, you know what that's all about You have your about which is where you have your system updates and things like that And then you click on system updates and all that and it'll check for an update if you want it to I'm not on the wi-fi so it's not going to make a difference for me your time and date if you need to set that language Keyboard storage stuff, um, it'll tell you your total space and things like that And obviously the breakdown everything like kind of like a phone an android phone Ambient mode, which you need wi-fi to work, which basically is pointless. It's just like a little ambient mode I think if you're watching a tv, you probably won't need that too much Then of course you have energy Power and energy which will allow you to basically when you turn the tv on it Allows you to decide if you want it to go to the home screen or the last input that you use This is important for those who like jumping in and just maybe accessing like disney plus or netflix or whatever Just straight from the home menu versus going to a particular input Energy saver and then it'll tell you turn the tv off after how many hours for those being conservative with how much power they're consuming And then of course the power led if you want to turn off the power led you can do that So when it's in standby, you can do that Then again, you have all these various options that you can choose from and do and it allows you to do a little bit, but not a whole lot
