This is a good case for the amount of money spent. The inside is very well sealed. The outside casing is very strong the handles are pretty good and the locking mechanism seems good enough. The gasket around the door seals very well

Ok for the purpose, not anything wonderful.

 Burglars will just take it with them as it isn't bolted to anything.  The lock DOES serve to make this fireproof. Even without the latches secured, the outside will melt and blister in a fire (as designed) and seal itself against smoke and flame intrusion. That's the only benefit to this lock; keeping the lid and base in close contact for this purpose

 If they want it notarized (and they do) I'm not sure why they say you can scan and email it. That's bordering on ludicrous as anyone can fake a notary's stamp.  But what is the point? This is NOT burglar proof. This is a keep-your-nosey-kids-out-of-your-things proof at best

Some of the plastic sheathing and latches seem cheap, handles could be bigger, but otherwise it appears to be solid enough for my needs. I have no doubt that anyone that knows their way around a bench press wouldn't have any trouble picking it up high enough to drop and break the latch, but again this is to protect against fire. I keep my documents inside several collapsible files by subject, the letter collapsible files are too wide to turn side ways, too tall to stand completely up (unless you crush the tops ever so slightly) so i mostly just drop them in there and have to dig them back out
