 This curling iron was purchased for my mother, im stating that because she finally went to a beauty supply store and found the same exact curling iron and mentioned to the store employee about the other 2 over heating and melting, the employee asked my mom where she had gotten them and when she replied amazon the employee said " you probably got a knock off"...so far the same exact curling iron she bought from this store is working perfectly

 I have never had a curling iron last such a short time. I have a different one the same brand, I have had for years. Stills works but i needed a smaller one. Any guarantee on this item???
