 It's it's all right, but this is a 27 inch monitor and the best part about it is it's 165 hertz refresh rate, which is insane. As I learn more about this stuff, I realized that refresh rates can make or break whether or not you win a fight. Granted, there's a lot of skill that goes into that, but I like to tell myself that refresh rates everything. So that's how I justify buying a new monitor

 Included in the review is a pretty good representation of what I see using a solid black color and with the monitor brightness set at 5 at about an arms length away.  Horizontal viewing angles are good. Vertical viewing angles are only good looking from below. From above it's a bit washed out and gets worse when a horizontal angle is added

 If there's anything dark in that corner it will look washed out if sitting in the center. I can either sit a bit off to the left about an inch from the center or sit one and half arms length away to see that bottom left glow go away so things like watching movies from a further distance is unaffected. Excellent Value 1440p IPS Gaming! - HP X27q Review

Their refresh rate was between 60-75HZ. Accidentaly when i was looking at the other monitors I came across HP X27Q on sale so i decided to try it since it has all perks that i have been looking for expect 165 HZ refresh rate AND HOLY FUCK. IT IS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT EXPERIENCE. Why premium dell monitor which is twice as expensive has 60HZ when it makes such a big difference

 After icc profile and slight manual adjustment it’s extremely accurate and colors are fantastic. Watch techless video on YouTube and he’ll walk you through the color adjustment and provide the icc profile link.  Ips glow was minimal on my panel which was surprising and using that icc profile also helped with the blacks looking more black than gray. Button location is a bit awkward so it’s best to set this monitor up before mounting it to a specific location

ALMOST a 5-Star

 Spec-wise, we're looking at a classic 27-inch 1440p IPS monitor with a refresh rate of 165Hz. One thing to note, though, is that the I.O. is pretty sparse, and that this monitor doesn't have speakers

 I've measured a contrast ratio of 933 to 1. That's actually the second highest value I've ever measured for one of LG's IPS panels, but still a bit underwhelming. For the sake of simplicity, here's what each backlight strobing mode with the overdrive set to level 2 looks like, which is the optimal setting for MPRT
