 It's yellow and it has those lovely pink pickups. It has the Tree of Life inlays and all that. and I'm gonna read a few specs for you because I can't remember.  According to the Jem Fan site, you can darken it with a few days UV light, or stain it. Jatoba is a very hard wood, so it's not a functional change, just cosmetic. A dark fretboard looks a lot better. **

 RG Next, so you've got a little bit more girth there to deal with. Then we've got this Jatoba or Jacobo cop remember nounce it I've never actually heard of it before, but it's a replacement for rosewood which gets around the scythe ease restrictions. And then we've got jumbo frets excellent fret work on here. and then we've got the Tree of Life in Light, which again, at this price point, is absolutely remarkable

 So the guitar features a lot of the same kind of ideas that you'll find with the higher-end models, but at a very affordable price. So you start with mahogany body obviously the gem shape with the deep console cutaways, the monkey grip the lion's claw for the recessed Ram Then when we turn it over, we've got the lovely belly carve on there for comfort. and then we've got an amazing cutaway here with the all-access next joint that's carved away so all the same features you'll find on the higher-end models. Now sticking with the body here, we've got three Infinity pickups these are Steve buys own pickups and we've got humbucker single humbucker as your phone on the more expensive gems that's matched with the five voice which on a volume and its own control

 It looks fantastic. Very good execution on there with top dots, double locking nuts on here. And then we've got high quality tuners, high quality diecast tuners, matching headstock with the Ibanez logo on there. and then obviously we've got gem on there

This guitar has a very nice tone, fretboad playability is exceptional, and lightweight. based on my preference comparing the tone between this guitar and the Fender Start, Fender has more nicer tone than this guitar (comparing humbacker and single coil pickups), they have maybe the same sustain, but the fretboard playability is that this guitar has exceptional maybe because it has a flat fretboard or "D" class?  The reason that I give four star of this product is that, the guitar not setup perfectly, like the action string its too high. The factory or vendor should setup the guitar perfectly because they are the experts one

  I have a couple of guitar owned alread, Fender Strat mexican, Jackson, and Yamaha with Floyed Rose Bridge and I will compare it here this guitar with my Fender Strat...  This guitar has a very nice tone, fretboad playability is exceptional, and lightweight

Excellent guitar! Sadly, guitar was not ready to play out of the box. A lot of work and adjustments needed to tune guitar, adjust string level, pickup level, and intonation was way off. After tackling the set up, guitar was very fuzzy when plugged in to amp. I tried different cables, different guitar and it was definitely the JEM JR at fault, possibly a grounding issue or bad input jack

 Make sure you knock all the burrs off of that thing and then you should be able to [Applause] play in tune after that for a little while. These things because they're so soft, they are troublesome and uh, short of replacing them, I don't know of anything that is great that's going to fix them permanently. Uh, but the guitar if you can get one like I did. If you get a used return where it's under 400 and then you spend another that hundred dollars that you saved and you spend it on a better tremolo system

Ibanez Jem Jr Long Term Review and Critical Issue Fix

 I have an Ibanez RG 120 and this is a step up with the whammy bar. I really like the tree of life neck and the harmonics sound great. For the price it is a great guitar that is ready for you to modify and make even better.
