This has got 24 frets which is more than any other guitar if you think a Fender Stratocaster 21 22 frets Fender Telecaster 21 22 a PRS custom 22 only ...

Anyway, I'm just a 25+ year hobbyist, but I've owned, over the years, multiple USA made Stratocasters, Telecasters, a Guild, a Les Paul, as well as a nice Ibanez RG and S series, etc. However, the Charvel is like the best features of each of those rolled into one guitar. It has the fast, smooth, thin neck of the Ibanez, the iconic headstock and body of the Telecaster (but with actual comfort contouring), the Gibson humbucking tone, as well as some great sounding strat/tele single coil tones (with coil-splitting). All for under a grand.

​. Ibanez RG350dx bought before I could affor a Prestige, it can't compete. Installed a Dimarzio and messed up a DIY scallop job so can't get anything for it anyway at this point.
