Okay, see, pretty usable range, again, tone knob. Let's crank that baby, see where we're at there. Good musical voice, even at that extreme setting

It's a bit more gnarly than the TS808. If you want more of a creamier sound, get that original tube screamer. But for me, it's the TS9

It's a great first pedal for people, especially if you're into like kind of the rock and blues kind of thing.

Just wanted to update on my previous post here: We ended up going with a Bugera V5 Infinium amp, the Ibanez Tube Screamer, and the Zoom Multistomp. He was thrilled so I think we made the right decisions! He's already thinking he wants his next pedal to be a wah so I'll be looking into that next.

It gets a better sound out of the other effects as well. 10/10 would buy again.
