IKEA KALLAX Shelf

I was given this recommendation a while back; depending upon how you intend to use it (tower or wall shelf), small steel shelf brackets from a hardware store that attaches to the thicker sidewall pieces of the KALLAX can be attached to make the structure more rigid. Think "L" brackets.

I like the ikea kallax (and walmart/target cube equivalents). mainstays has some cheap tall shelves too.

We have an Ikea Kallax storage unit with a mixture of drawers/doors and pull out boxes - you can even fit a sybian in one of the spaces just right!. ​. The unit really isn't something you can hide, but for larger collections - it has a good variety of storage options; one limitation is particularly long toys won't fit without being bent over - each storage spot is 13"x13"x15" deep and you lose a little bit of width if you use doors and more if you do drawers.
