If you need something especially portable, the Insta360 GO 2 is the way to (excuse the pun) go. Marketed as the world's smallest action camera, this tiny camera will appeal more to vloggers and content creators than rugged adventure-seekers. However, it's a unique option that can fit into the tightest spaces. It also comes with a magnetic pendant necklace that lets you discreetly shoot chest-level footage.

On top of that, it has some neat features you can access through the Insta360 companion app, including built-in editing features and stabilization that you can apply after the fact. That said, unlike the DJI Osmo Action or the GoPro HERO9 Black, which both fall around the same price point, the GO 2 can't record 4k video, limited to a max resolution of 1440p. Frame rate options are also more limited. Still, if you're looking for an extremely portable, minimalist solution for on-the-go video, it's a nifty little camera.

What are some good cameras i could get for my race quad?

Hi everyone.

My partner and I have recently starting shooting our own porn, so we're newbs. We currently use smartphones mounted to ringlight tripods for B-roll, with me(guy) holding a gopro for the POV shot. 

We're not pornstars so I feel that holding the gopro is too distracting for me, and my partner doesn't want to have to think about looking into the camera so much, so we're trying to find a handsfree solution that would allow us to just focus on the scene.

Mounting the gopro to my forehead works alright, but I'd like to try using a 180 or 360 degree camera mounted with the lens centered on my forehead, that way we'd have a bit of freedom to move the shot in editing. 

The Insta360 GO 2 looked promising, but it seems that it can only record for 30min, at least 1 hour would be ideal. I also thought about mounting an Insta360 One X2 or One RS 1-inch upside-down with the lens centered on my forehead, but I've yet to find that kind of mounting hardware.

Has anyone ever tried a setup like this? If not, is there a better handsfree POV solution than a gopro?

Head Mounted 360 Camera for Handsfree NSFW POV

 I wouldn’t trust this to wear with the hat clip. Don’t want to risk an explosion right next to my face, because this thing gets hot quick. The battery life wasn’t cutting it for me at this price point. The lack of a screen on this camera means you will be tapping and guessing as to whether the camera is on and working like you want it

Summary- I am returning this and will use a GoPro 10 instead. The GoPro has better image quality, is easier to use with its built in screens, and is roughly same price.  The magnetic medallion is cool, but I wouldn’t trust it. Could easily get knocked off, and goodbye $300

So I see a lot of lifestyle vloggers and such wear pretty big and clunky cameras or just use their phones to record what they are doing and so I was wondering if there are like smart phone camera-type cameras that you could use for this without a reidiculous amount of wiring, that maybe you just hit a button after a cool moment to save the last 5 minutes or something, or maybe you go home at the end of the day and save it from the SD card?

I've searched for regular action cameras but they are all way too far away from the sort of thing you could weave into your clothes.

Action Camera You Can Wear?

I will start off by saying that the video quality of this camera is great, the image stabilization looks great, and the video is nice and sharp for such a small device. I also notice that the charge case gets very warm, almost hot while using this, so the manufacturer states that you should not make recordings longer than 15 minutes, which is not even one full trail ride! They say you can go for as long as 30 minutes if the camera is mounted on a motorcycle, so I assume that applies to a bicycle as well..

 VERY HIGH FIDDLE-FACTOR! Not what I would expect, but I will keep trying and hopefully, Insta360 will come up with either an app update or firmware updates, because I really like this camera.  One other problem is that I am unable to connect the camera to my Mac nor to the Parallels Windows running on the Mac. I will try an old Windows PC one of these days, but for now, I have to fiddle to get the camera connected and save each video to my iPhone Photos app, and transfer them that was. Workarounds

..  The main problem for the three stars is the connectivity between the camera and the iOS app - it keeps dropping the connection, and when I try to reconnect, it will not do so. Turn the camera off and back on, start and stop the app, over and over until after four or five attempts, it reconnects

Camera is small an convenient, however it has a short record time. Once the camera start recording it will stop after 30 minutes. If you are using it for short sessions it works well, however if you plan on using it for an adventure that lasts longer look at something else. This camera does work well for some of the projects that I have, small shorts

 the battery doesn’t last long at least you use it for short shots, the remote is a really good concept but it gets extremely hot specially during files transfer. Picture quality and stabilization is one of the best if not the best in the market as now. Warranty not what you will expect, you’ll be mostly receiving a pre recorded automated answer instead of someone really addressing to your concerns.

Almost perfect solution for big bulky recording equipment.
