Intel Core i7-10700K vs. AMD Ryzen 7 3700X & R9 3900X
just too expensive and not worth the premium. Basically what I found with the 10 900 K and again, availability looks to be the key issue here. and while I was able to purchase a Core I7 10 700 cage ship on release day, getting my hands on this guy here or at least this is the box that ship still on the test system

10th Gen Intel Core i7-10700K Review: Still Worth buying in 2021?
So there's a lot of times in Consumer Tech when the latest isn't necessarily the best choice and this Cpu definitely proves it.

Hard to Justify: Intel Core i7-10700K CPU Review & Benchmarks vs. 3900X, 3700X, 10600K
we know it was a popular CPU, but our opinion on the 3700 X part was that you should buy a 3900 X or a 3600 and the part in between The extra hundred bucks in most scenarios, but not all, didn't make a lot of sense. Now, obviously there are scenarios where it made sense and we explain those in the 37 X review, but the 10700 falls in basically the same position as far as we're concerned, and either of the other two on either side make a lot more sense, so that's it for this one.

Intel i7-10700k,. Asus Z490 ITX,. Asus RTX 2080 Super,. Ek water blocks,.
I was looking into the intel core i7 model with 512 gigabytes and 32 gigabytes of ram
same issue with MBP, intel core i7. Have to replug external desktop usb-c connector to make mac recognize after waking up mac. One thing I observe is if I make mac sleep (cmd+option+power), do not see this issue. But if mac sleeps on its own due to prolonged non-use , then recognising external monitor is hard (needs replugging, sometimes 2-3 attempts of it).
No Intel/AMD chip comes close to this power to efficiency ratio which is important so the laptop has good real world battery life and doesn’t get hot doing basic tasks. Plus you’re getting a QHD res display that makes for a meaningful jump in sharpness over most of its competitors with FHD displays, an excellent glass trackpad and backlit keyboard, solid build quality and great speakers. This, on top of Intel Core i7 beating performance at a baseline price that gets you a Core i5 on a comparable Surface Laptop 4 or XPS 13. It’s an excellent laptop in its own right, let alone if she’s already in the Apple ecosystem so she’d get traditional benefits you’d also get on Intel Macs, plus the M1, it’s a fantastic deal,:especially with student discounts.
