 The 85Ts were a little bulkier, they kind of dialed back the bass a little bit, and newer Jabra earbuds were just not the same as the 75Ts. That is until now. These, the Jabra Elite 4 Actives, are designed for workouts. They're extremely versatile, they have active noise cancellation, they're compact, comfortable, and of course they have that classic bass heavy sound that a lot of people really like about Jabra earbuds

 I mean, that's going to be kind of expected when you're talking about a lower price within the range, but still for $120 I would expect some Qi wireless charging. That's definitely a drawback. We do have USB Type-C charging on the back, we have our classic LED on the front to indicate when it's pairing, when it's updating, or of course if it's just, you know, the battery level in general. When you open them up, I love how the earbuds case sits up, but the earbuds themselves, although they fit and the overall geometry is very similar to the 75T's, they are slightly different in that when you look at them, you don't see a physical button on the outside

 These, the Jabra Elite 4 Actives, are designed for workouts. Additionally, these are now selling for about $120. Now, while I do seriously think that these can be my new go-to earbuds for workouts and possibly replace my BeatsFit Pro, there is one catch that I want to address

 They had a great water resistance, great design, great for workouts, and of course that signature bass heavy sound that we really liked about the Jabra earbuds. Since it came out, however, we really haven't seen many new replacements for those earbuds. The 85Ts were a little bulkier, they kind of dialed back the bass a little bit, and newer Jabra earbuds were just not the same as the 75Ts. That is until now

But for wireless buds these do the trick. They even have some of that coveted "x factor" that a lot of people look for in good speakers or headphones. I do think these sound good because they match great with me as well.

 However, the highs in this recording made it past the ANC circuitry more easily. Most ANC pairs struggle with higher-frequency noises, but more expensive models, such as the $280 Sony WF-1000XM4, fare better in all of the above scenarios.

 But I mentioned earlier in this video that there are some negatives, not everything's positive, and so there's really a couple big things that I think set this back, and for this price point, I would like to see them. The first one being wireless charging. I don't know why they didn't add that. It's a very similar case to what we saw before, and many other cases that look exactly like this from Jabra did have wireless charging

I have the jabra elite 75t and they are pretty great. I paid $99 on sale but they are only 129 right now.

I'm using the Cambridge Audio Melomania Touch w my Pixel 5a. Super easy to use app, fantastic sound and great fit. My only knock is no ANC but it does have Transparency Mode

The Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro just came out and have pretty great reviews. There are plenty of good videos on YouTube for them. I've had the Liberty 2 Pro for about 2 years now and I love them.

If you do any real gaming on your phone I recommend the Razer Hammerhead True Wireless earbuds. While they may not have the best sound or battery life, the audio latency in gaming mode is the lowest I've been able to find. And they still sound pretty good.

I use the Sony WF-1000XM3's and they're great. Downside is the case is fairly large with no wireless charging and with the weight mostly outside of the ear's conch you're having to adjust it occasionally. But the sound and ANC are fantastic. 

Your should find these around £100 or similar in dollars, while the XM4's will set you back just over £200 with a much improved design. 

If you do want budget though I would fully recommend the Jabra 75T's. Got them for a relative and they very felt comfortable with a great battery life. Sound didn't hear it my Sony pair but the quality was still good.

  The improvement in sound is noticeable but not earth shattering. The fit is better because they’re smaller, but I’ve always really liked the way the 75t fit me. The noise cancelation however is substantially better in these than the 75t, and that by itself makes these better for people who spend much time on planes, trains and noisy environments. But only if your primary use is listening to music/movies/podcasts etc

These are a nice improvement over the 75t in noise cancelation, size and fit, but a step back in many other ways.  While the 75t didn’t have wireless charging in most versions, there was a gray one with wireless charging initially sold at Costco and later at other retailers.  The improvement in sound is noticeable but not earth shattering. The fit is better because they’re smaller, but I’ve always really liked the way the 75t fit me

 The noise cancelation however is substantially better in these than the 75t, and that by itself makes these better for people who spend much time on planes, trains and noisy environments. But only if your primary use is listening to music/movies/podcasts etc. because I find the microphones inferior. Why inferior? They don’t pick up my voice well - I sound very low volume, and have to speak very loudly to be heard

Sound really good, fit great but…

 I will mention one thing though. When you're doing comparisons to the other end of the spectrum, like with the Elite 7s, you really notice what the price difference gets you. The Elite 7s sound better in just about every category, especially clarity. But again, you're looking at about a $100 difference

 Don't get me wrong, the ANC does just enough to get the job done, but I wouldn't buy these for the ANC alone. Let me know. Looking at the sound performance here, the Elite 4 Active sound the same as the Elite 3s. No surprise because they use the same 6mm drivers

 It's quite punchy actually. It just doesn't have the same rumbling presence as the Elite 3s. No matter because there is a customizable EQ on board so you're able to change the sound signature to your heart's content. These buds get loud too

 Looking at the case, we see the return of the flip top design, which I think I prefer if I'm being completely honest. On the front, we have a Jabra logo and a single LED indicator light, and on the back, we have a USB-C port for charging. Wireless charging is not included. So just like the Jabra models before them, the Elite 4 Actives are super comfortable

What wireless earbuds have the best mic sound quality for calls in noisey environments?

I can only get about 4 hours of use before the earbuds are depleted (just watching tv), and then the case has already gone dead after charging the earbuds a second time (some simple math- 4 hours + 4 hours = 8 hours of charging before the case was completely dead), yet it claims 28 hours?? Worst bluetooth earbuds I've ever owned based on battery life alone. No need to look at anything else.  The ironic thing is I have a $40 pair of earbuds that last 10 hours per use, and the case charges them around four to five times before I have to charge the case
